RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Grant totaled 49 yards on four receptions in Saturday's 27-10 loss to the Stampeders.

It was another typically solid night for the reliable veteran, who'd logged a touchdown in each of the season's first three weeks. Although his four receptions represented a season low, Grant still checked in second in both catches and receiving yards on the Riders behind Naaman Roosevelt. As long as Caleb Holley (shoulder) is sidelined, Grant should continue serving as one of quarterback Kevin Glenn's most trusted targets.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Grant totaled 72 yards and a touchdown on six receptions in Saturday's 37-20 win over the Tigercats.

The seven-year veteran is carving out opportunities despite sharing the field with the talented duo of Naaman Roosevelt and Duron Carter, now having notched six receptions in each of the first three games of the season and finding the end zone in all of those contests as well. Grant's three scores already leave him on the verge of eclipsing the career-high four he's posted the last two seasons, while his 18 catches put him on pace to blow by the high-water mark of 69 he established back in 2013. Additionally, it's worth noting that Grant's opportunities should only grow over the next several weeks with Caleb Holley (shoulder) on the sidelines.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Grant caught six passes for 68 yards and a touchdown in Thursday's 17-16 loss to the Alouettes.

He saw extra snaps in Week 1 thanks to Chad Owens' foot injury and took advantage, scoring the Roughriders' only touchdown of the night. Grant has never topped 1,000 yards or five TDs in any of his prior six CFL seasons, however, so while he might be occasionally productive don't expect performances like this to become a regular occurrence in 2017.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Grant will be a starting slotback in Thursday's season opener against the Alouettes.

Grant signed with the Roughriders during the offseason, and he will immediately be part of the starting lineup for his new team. Both he and Caleb Holley will likely start regularly while Chad Owens (foot) is banged up, but one of the two will likely cede his starting spot once Owens is ready to get on the field.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Grant (undisclosed) is listed as a reserve slotback on the depth chart for Sunday's Western Final matchup with the Lions.

Grant will be on the roster this week for the first time since Week 13. Given the length of his absence, it remains to be seen what type of role he will play Sunday.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Grant (knee) is making progress from his injury and will be eligible to play in the West final against the Alouettes on Nov. 20, the Calgary Herald reports. "If I'm playing that West final, you can believe it's going to be my A-game," he said.

Grant reportedly has been practicing this week, which seems to have improved his chances of drawing into the final. The California native, who's been out since Week 13, has 44 receptions for 625 yards and four touchdowns this season.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Grant (undisclosed) is not listed on the depth chart for Friday's matchup with the Argonauts.

It was reported earlier this week that Grant was close to getting back on the field, but he will sit out at least one more week due to the injury that has sidelined him since Week 13.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Head coach Dave Dickenson said Monday that Grant (undisclosed) should be "ready to go very soon."

Dickenson did not provide any other details regarding Grant's status, but the receiver should have a chance to return to action for the Stampeders' next game Friday against the Argonauts.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Grant is headed to the six-game injured list due to a knee injury, CHQR Calgary reports.

Grant suffered the injury in the Stampeders' victory over the Redblacks on Saturday. While he will miss several weeks, head coach Dave Dickenson does not believe the setback is season-ending and hopes Grant could return before missing six games. Grant's absence figures to lead to more opportunities for Lemar Durant and Kamar Jorden.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Grant managed 58 yards on two receptions in Saturday's 48-23 victory over the Redblacks.

The 29-year-old saw his two-game touchdown streak snapped, but still managed to check in second on the team in receiving yards. Grant did turn in an impressive 50-yard catch and now has at least one reception of 20 yards or more in seven of the 10 games he's played in this season.

September 11, 2016

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Grant totaled 89 yards and a touchdown in overtime on six receptions in Saturday's 34-28 overtime victory over the Eskimos.

The veteran wideout was the hero, bringing in a 23-yard throw from Bo Levi Mitchell for the winning score in overtime. Grant has hauled in six receptions for three straight games, and has a touchdown in three of the last four weeks as well.

September 6, 2016

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Grant caught six passes for 95 yards and a touchdown in Monday's win over the Eskimos.

The 95 yards were a season high for Grant while the TD was his third in the last six games, as he continues to establish himself as a reliable option for quarterback Bo Levi Mitchell. Marquay McDaniel remains the top dog in the Stamps' passing game, but Grant is piling up some impressive numbers of his own.

August 29, 2016

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Grant caught six passes for 46 yards in Sunday's win over the Tiger-Cats.

As per usual quarterback Bo Levi Mitchell spread the ball around as six different Stampeders caught multiple passes in the game, but Grant ended up leading the team with six grabs. The sudden emergence of rookie DeVaris Daniels creates even more competition for targets though, so don't expect Grant to be a factor every week going forward.

August 20, 2016

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Grant caught three passes for 36 yards and a touchdown in Friday's win over the Lions.

The TD was his second of the season. After catching 17 passes for 223 yards through his first three games of the season Grant has become a decidedly secondary option in the Stamps' passing attack, hauling in just seven passes for 115 yards over the last three weeks. He'll still have the occasional productive performance given the high-volume nature of the Calgary passing game, but Grant can't be relied upon for consistent numbers.

August 5, 2016

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Grant caught three passes for 71 yards in Thursday's win over the Roughriders.

Since getting into the lineup four games ago Grant has made his presence felt, catching 20 passes for 293 yards and a TD. Stamps QB Bo Levi Mitchell has plenty of targets in the passing game, but Grant appears to be solidifying his spot as the second option behind Marquay McDaniel.

July 30, 2016

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Grant caught seven passes for 69 yards and a touchdown in Friday's 44-41 overtime win over the Lions.

His 42-yard TD reception late in the fourth quarter kick-started a furious Stampeders rally that eventually got the team the win in a wild game. Grant has now had three solid games in a row and should remain a big part of Calgary's passing attack going forward.

July 22, 2016

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Grant caught five passes for 64 yards in Thursday's win over the Blue Bombers.

The former Tiger-Cat has looked good in his first two games with the Stampeders, hauling in 10 catches for 153 yards. Marquay McDaniel is the clear top target of Bo Levi Mitchell, but Grant is quickly earning the QB's confidence as well.

July 9, 2016

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Grant caught five passes for 89 yards in Friday's 26-26 tie with the Redblacks.

He took full advantage of his first starting opportunity in a Stamps uniform Friday, but after five mostly lackluster seasons in Hamilton, Grant still needs to prove he can be an effective and consistent weapon for Calgary.

July 7, 2016

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Grant is listed as a starting slotback on this week's depth chart, Postmedia's Scott Mitchell reports.

Grant has not caught a pass yet this season, but he has moved ahead of Kamar Jorden on the depth chart. The report notes that Grant saw "a whole lot of first-team reps this week," which bodes well for his chances of producing this week.

June 18, 2016

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Grant hauled in three receptions for 31 yards and a touchdown in Friday's 31-21 preseason victory over the BC Lions.

The offseason acquisition snatched his touchdown from veteran Drew Tate on the last play of the third quarter, and is primed to play a pivotal role in the Stamps' offense this season. The 28-year-old grabbed 35 receptions for 492 yards and four touchdowns with Hamilton in 2015, and notched a 42-yard touchdown in the Tigercats' Eastern Semi-Final over Toronto. He's tallied 17 touchdowns over five CFL seasons, with a career-best 947 yards in 2013 with Hamilton.
