RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Mitchell posted two receptions for 90 yards in Saturday's 34-26 loss to the Argonauts.

Mitchell may have only posted a pair of catches, but he made both of them count. After hauling in a 30-yard pass earlier in the contest, Mitchell brought in a 60-yard bomb from Mike Reilly on the Eskimos' final possession, taking the ball down to the Argos' 32-yard line with 2:12 remaining. While the 25-year-old's two receptions were a season low, his 45.0 YPC was a high-water mark, while his receiving yards were his best total in that category since Week 8. Mitchell will look to continue producing against the Blue Bombers in Week 15 following a Week 14 bye.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Mitchell is not in the starting lineup for Monday's game against the Stampeders.

Mitchell has started for the Eskimos since making his season debut in Week 5, but he will give up his starting spot to open up space for fellow pass catcher Adarius Bowman. Mitchell has averaged five receptions per game and has scored three times in 2017, but he may find it tough to match that production moving forward if he sees fewer opportunities.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Mitchell recorded three receptions for 31 yards and a touchdown and also rushed once for five yards in Friday's 54-31 win over the Riders.

Mitchell hauled in a meaningless touchdown from backup QB James Franklin with 11 seconds remaining, giving him his third receiving score on the season. The 25-year-old has been impressive overall during his starting opportunities, but with Brandon Zylstra's return from injury Friday -- as well as Adarius Bowman's imminent recovery from a hamstring ailment -- Mitchell is likely left competing with D'haquille Williams for targets. Mitchell should still have fantasy viability going forward, although the amount of looks he sees could take a slight hit when the receiving corps regains full health.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Mitchell caught seven passes for a team-high 114 yards in Thursday's 27-20 win over the Redblacks.

The second-year CFL receiver continues to see his role grow, racking up 15 catches for 235 yards over the last two games. Edmonton has three WRs, including Adarius Bowman (hamstring), sidelined due to injury at the moment, so Mitchell should get plenty of targets from Mike Reilly in the short term until the roster gets healthier.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Mitchell totaled eight receptions for 121 yards and a touchdown in Friday's 33-28 win over the Ti-Cats.

After a modest three-reception, six-yard effort in Week 6, Mitchell exploded for career highs in receptions and receiving yards while also recording the second touchdown of his CFL career. With Adarius Bowman (hamstring) on the six-game injured list, the Northwestern State product could continue rising in the Eskimos' high-powered passing attack. He'll look to deliver a successful encore in a showdown with the Redblacks in Week 8.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Mitchell compiled 76 yards and scored a touchdown on five receptions in Thursday's 31-28 win over the Ti-Cats. He also caught a two-point conversion pass.

The Northwestern State product matched his reception total and exceeded his yardage figure from last season in Thursday's start, while also hauling in the first touchdown of his CFL career. Mitchell hit pay dirt on a nifty 29-yard catch-and-run late in the first quarter to open the scoring for Edmonton and looked the part overall in place of Adarius Bowman (hamstring). With Bowman now on the six-game injured list, Mitchell becomes an intriguing and low-cost DFS option in the Eskimos' high-powered attack for the next several weeks.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Mitchell (undisclosed) will start at slotback in Thursday's game against the Tiger-Cats.

Fellow slotback Adarius Bowman will sit out Thursday due to a hamstring injury, so not only will Mitchell suit up for the first time this season, he will do so as a starter as well. Mitchell appeared in just one game for the Eskimos last year, but he did tally five receptions for 69 yards in that contest.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Mitchell (undisclosed) was placed on the one-game injured list in advance of Friday's matchup with the Redblacks.

Mitchell was on the injured list for Edmonton's first two games of the season, and that will remain the case this week coming out of the team's Week 3 bye.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Mitchell (undisclosed) remains on the one-game injured list for Week 2.

Mitchell will spend a second straight week on the injured list. The Eskimos have quality depth at the receiving positions, so it remains to be seen if and when he will make an impact this season.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Mitchell was placed on the one-game injured list prior to the Eskimos' Week 1 matchup with the Lions.

It's not clear what type of injury Mitchell is dealing with, but the setback will prevent him from taking the field for the Eskimos' season opener. He will have a chance to return to action in Week 2.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Mitchell was added to the Edmonton's practice roster Friday, Dave Campbell of 630 CHED reports.

After being released by Edmonton last month the team changed their mind and decided to add Mitchell back onto the practice squad. The 24-year-old wideout has yet to appear in a CFL game this year but may get an opportunity in the Eskimos final nine games of the season.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Mitchell was released by the Eskimos on Tuesday.

Mitchell did not appear in a game for the Eskimos this season, and the team is apparently pleased with their depth at the receiver position, so they decided to release him to free up a roster spot.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Mitchell hauled in a team-high four receptions for 43 yards in Saturday's 25-11 preseason victory over the Roughriders.

The 23-year-old wideout turned in a second consecutive productive outing, which included a 25-yard grab. Mitchell has set some strong expectations for what he might be able to contribute in 2016 with a two-game exhibition tally of 10 catches for 81 yards and a touchdown. He turned in modest totals of five receptions for 45 yards and two rushes for 17 yards in the 2015 preseason slate, following a 53-reception, 564-yard haul with five touchdowns over a 21-game college career.
