Sinopoli logged seven receptions for 82 yards in Thursday's 32-4 win over the Als.

Sinopoli paced the Ottawa offense in catches while also eclipsing the 70-reception mark for the third straight season. The sure-handed 29-year-old has been especially productive in the last five games, logging 34 receptions over that span. He'll look to extend his current stretch of success against the porous Ti-Cats secondary in Week 12.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Sinopoli notched four receptions for 61 yards in Saturday's 31-24 win over the Lions.

The veteran possession receiver continues to sport one of the safest fantasy floors for CFL receivers, as he's now posted at least four receptions in nine of 10 games. Sinopoli also posted his second-best YPC figure of the season (15.3), and with 728 receiving yards through 10 games, is within striking distance of a third straight 1,000-yard campaign.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Sinopoli logged seven receptions for 78 yards in Friday's 37-18 win over the Ti-Cats.

Sinopoli continues to be one of the steadiest wideouts in the CFL, now having notched at least six receptions in seven of his nine contests. While he's only eclipsed the 100-yard mark on one occasion this season, the veteran remains just one receiving touchdown short of equaling the career-best four he posted in 2016. He'll look to continue producing against the Lions in Week 10.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Sinopoli caught 10 passes for 98 yards in Friday's 33-30 loss to the Blue Bombers.

Through seven games, Sinopoli already has 47 catches for 538 yards and three TDs, putting him on pace to set new career highs in all three categories. The 29-year-old should continue to post strong numbers going forward given that the strength of Ottawa's passing game, and the weakness of their defense, creates the potential for a shootout every week.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Sinopoli hauled in three receptions for 25 yards and a touchdown in Monday's 27-24 loss to the Argos. He also caught a two-point conversion pass.

Fresh off posting a season-high nine catches on Wednesday versus the Als, Sinopoli came well short of that mark Monday but did get into the end zone for the second straight contest. The veteran possession receiver has seen a slight uptick in volume thus far with the offseason departures of Ernest Jackson and Chris Williams, with his 37 catches through six games putting him on pace for a career-high 111 receptions over 18 contests. Given his sure hands and dependable route running, he retains a safe floor week-to-week in the pass-heavy Ottawa attack. Sinopoli will look to keep his strong start going in Week 7 versus the Blue Bombers following a Week 6 bye.

July 19, 2017

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Sinopoli caught nine passes for 96 yards and a touchdown in Wednesday's 24-19 win over the Alouettes.

While he's been playing second fiddle to Greg Ellingson in the Ottawa passing attack, Sinopoli has still been extremely consistent through the first five games of 2017, catching at least four passes and topping 50 yards in every contest. With Trevor Harris emerging as one of the top QBs in the CFL this season, the 29-year-old Canadian should continue seeing a steady stream of targets.

July 14, 2017

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Sinopoli managed 53 yards on four receptions in Friday's 23-21 loss to the Eskimos.

Sinopoli is one of the surer options at the receiver position for fantasy purposes, although he typically doesn't generate game-breaking numbers. Friday's production was a rather typical one for the veteran possession receiver, as he served as a reliable option for Trevor Harris in the short and intermediate passing game. Sinopoli is notably averaging a career-best 12.8 yards per reception this season, as he's been used slightly more downfield with the offseason departures of Chris Williams and Ernest Jackson. The 29-year-old pass catcher will look to help the Redblacks garner their first victory against the Als in Week 5.

July 8, 2017

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Sinopoli totaled 67 yards on six receptions in Saturday's 26-25 loss to the Argonauts.

The sure-handed veteran did plenty of the dirty work in the short and intermediate passing game while Greg Ellingson led the downfield attack. The 29-year-old has been a steady presence in the Ottawa offense over the first three weeks, notching 21 receptions for 266 yards and a touchdown. Sinopoli looks to be one of Trevor Harris' most trusted options, affording him a safe floor for fantasy purposes. He'll look to keep up his strong start against the Eskimos in Week 4.

June 29, 2017

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Sinopoli totaled 111 yards and a touchdown on seven receptions in Thursday's 43-39 loss to the Stampeders.

The veteran possession receiver made some plays downfield in the shootout, averaging a solid 15.9 yards per reception while tying teammate Greg Ellingson for the lead in catches on the night. Through the season's first two weeks, Sinopoli is averaging a career-best 13.3 yards per grab on his 15 catches, while his 199 yards already put him on an early pace to easily eclipse the 1,000-yard milestone for the fourth straight season. With the departures of Chris Williams and Ernest Jackson this offseason, Sinopoli's role in the offense is expected to remain robust throughout the campaign, particularly given his sure hands and rapport with quarterback Trevor Harris.

June 23, 2017

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Sinopoli caught eight passes for a team-high 88 yards in Friday's 31-31 tie with the Stampeders.

The veteran possession receiver showed good chemistry with Ottawa quarterback Trevor Harris, and while he likely won't find his way into the end zone too often, Sinopoli looks poised to top 1,000 yards for the third straight season in 2017.

June 19, 2017

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Sinopoli worked as a starting slotback in Monday's practice, Tim Baines of Postmedia reports.

Sinopoli is coming off back-to-back 1,000-yard seasons, and he will play a key role for the Redblacks again in 2017. Sinopoli finished fourth among Ottawa pass catchers in receiving yardage a year ago, but he could play a more prominent role this season with Chris Williams and Ernest Jackson -- who finished second and third on the team in receiving yards a year ago -- no longer on the roster.

November 28, 2016

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Sinopoli compiled 94 yards and a touchdown on six receptions in Sunday's 39-33 overtime Grey Cup victory over the Stamps.

The veteran slotback was tied with Ernest Jackson for second on the team in receptions while coming just two yards short of the latter's game-high receiving yardage total. Sinopoli also hauled in a nine-yard touchdown pass from Henry Burris in the third quarter, capping off a season in which he set career highs in receptions (90), yardage (1,036) and touchdowns (four). He'll head into next season as an important part of a high-octane Redblacks passing game as Ottawa sets forth in defense of their title.

November 20, 2016

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Sinopoli will be a starting slotback in Sunday's Eastern Final matchup with the Eskimos.

Sinopoli was rested in the Redblacks' regular season finale two weeks ago, but he will be back in action this week as the team looks to advance to the Grey Cup.

November 4, 2016

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Sinopoli is not on the depth chart for Friday's game against the Blue Bombers.

Sinopoli, like many of his fellow starters, will get a night off with the Redblacks heading into the postseason. All three of the Redblacks' top slotbacks will be held out Friday, so the trio of Khalil Paden, Jake Harty, and John Harris will start at that spot Friday.

October 30, 2016

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Sinopoli caught five passes for 73 yards in Saturday's win over the Blue Bombers.

He's the third option in the Redblacks' passing game, but that role has still allowed Sinopoli to set new career highs in catches, yards and TDs. He'll get one more chance to pad those totals Friday at home in a rematch against Ottawa.

October 15, 2016

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Sinopoli tallied six catches for 63 yards in Friday's 30-29 win over the Ti-Cats.

The veteran possession receiver led the Redblacks pass-catchers in receptions on the night, serving as a highly effective option for Henry Burris in the intermediate passing game. Sinopoli should see even more targets with Chris Williams (knee) out for the remainder of the campaign, giving him ample opportunity to eclipse the career-best 1,035 yards he posted last season, a figure he's now only 108 yards away from surpassing.

October 2, 2016

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Sinopoli gained 73 yards and scored a touchdown on eight receptions in Saturday's 40-33 loss to the Lions.

The veteran played the possession receiver role to perfection Saturday, while also hauling in his first touchdown since Week 5 versus the Roughriders. Sinopoli has totaled 17 catches for 189 yards over the last pair of contests in his best two-week stretch of the season.

September 24, 2016

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Sinopoli caught nine passes for 116 yards, both team highs, in Friday's win over the Argos.

The former Stampeder blossomed last year in his first campaign with the Redblacks, but Simpoli is well on pace to blow past the career-high 86 catches and 1035 receiving yards he amassed in 2015. Expect him to remain a big part of the team's passing game down the stretch.

September 2, 2016

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Sinopoli totaled 63 yards on eight receptions in Thursday's 19-14 victory over the Als.

The 28-year-old had his best reception total since the first week of the season, serving as an important complement to the exploits of Ernest Jackson and Chris Williams on the night. Sinopoli continues to provide whoever is behind center for the Redblacks with a steady and dependable target, with his 10-game totals of 53 receptions and 651 yards putting him on pace to potentially surpass the career-best marks of 86 catches and 1,035 yards he accomplished last season.

August 1, 2016

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Sinopoli totaled 69 yards on four catches in Sunday's 23-20 loss to the Argos.

The 28-year-old didn't quite provide a spectacular encore to his breakout 156-yard performance in Week 5, but did manage to lead the Redblacks in receiving on a night where returning starter Henry Burris appeared to be shaking off some rust after a multi-week absence. Sinopoli continues on pace to easily surpass his breakout totals of 86 catches and 1035 yards from last season, already having amassed 32 receptions for 491 yards through the first six games. With Chris Williams the recipient of plenty of defensive attention the last several weeks, Sinopoli has found his opportunities more plentiful, a trend that could persist as the season unfolds.

July 23, 2016

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Sinopoli totaled 156 yards and two touchdowns on five receptions in Friday's 30-29 loss to the Roughriders.

The 28-year-old put together his second 100-yard effort of the season, and displayed impressive rapport with emergency quarterback Brock Jensen after the latter's first-quarter entry into the game following Trevor Harris' leg injury. Sinopoli hooked up with Jensen for a 65-yard touchodwn off a broken tackle on the first-year quarterback's first possession, and then hauled in a 47-yard pass for another visit to the end zone in the second quarter. The veteran receiver could be an important component of the offense once again in Week 6 versus the Argos, particularly if Jensen gets the starting call.

June 30, 2016

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Sinopoli tallied 105 yards on five catches in Thursday's 28-13 victory over the Alouettes.

After hauling in the game-winning 12-yard touchdown in overtime last Saturday versus the Eskimos, Sinopoli went over the 100-yard mark Thursday, largely due to a game-high 64 yard reception. It was a nice departure from the possession-type catches that the 28-year-old national has proven so adept at over the years, although those are still expected to constitute a significant part of his offensive contributions in 2016. Sinopoli has proven to be an integral part of the Redblacks attack over the first two weeks, totaling 14 receptions for 189 yards and last week's touchdown.

June 26, 2016

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Sinopoli recorded nine catches for 84 yards, including a game-winning 12-yard score, in Saturday's 45-37 overtime victory over the Eskimos.

The 28-year-old Canadian national was excellent in the short-to-intermediate passing game, which has been his trademark throughout the last three campaigns. He was able to get loose in the back of the end zone on the first drive of the extra period, hauling in what turned out to be the game-winning score. Sinopoli was a 1,000-yard receiver for the first time in 2015, and looks set to build on that caliber of performance this season.
