Dubinsky wouldn't put a timetable on when he would be a full participant in training camp, but said Thursday his surgically repaired wrist was feeling better than it had in two years, Adam Jardy of The Columbus Dispatch reports. "It's getting better every day and that's the most important thing. Fortunately, it's fixed. It's just got a little ways to go in terms of mobility and strength, so we'll keep working at it and see where we get to."
Thurkauf had six assists through three games in the NHL Prospect Tournament heading into Tuesday's final, Andrew Erickson of The Columbus Dispatch reports. "He's been our best player in the tournament by far," AHL Cleveland head coach John Madden said Monday of Thurkauf. "It's not just how many points he's getting, it's his 200-foot game. He pays attention to the little details of the game, he's a really intelligent hockey player, so he's got a bright future."
