Cris Cyborg    UFC    Featherweight
Cyrborg has been cited for battery following an incident with Angela Magana at this past weekend's UFC fighter retreat, Damon Martin of FOX Sports reports.

Fantasy Analysis

Cyborg will not be arrested, but stands to face some type of punishment for the misdemeanor charge. Given that the alleged victim, Angela Magana, continues to taunt Cyborg on social media and claims to have not been hurt, the chances of Cyborg's punishment being severe are slim. Currently, the top 145-pound contender has not been booked for her next fight, but Cyborg remains hopeful to be added to the UFC 214 card on July 29. Any legal consequences stemming from this incident are unlikely to affect that target date, as a worst-case scenario likely involves a fine and/or community service for Cyborg.
Marlon Moraes    UFC    Bantamweight
Moraes signed with the UFC and will debut against Raphael Assuncao in a bantamweight matchup at UFC 212 on June 3 in Rio de Janeiro.

Fantasy Analysis

Moraes grew up alongside lightweight Edson Barboza and has finally made it into the same promotion. The Brazilian is currently 18-4 in his professional career with 13 straight wins. With eight KO/TKOs and five submissions, he'll be looking to begin his ascension up the bantamweight ranks in his debut against Raphael Assuncao, a former top contender.
Vitor Belfort    UFC    Middleweight
Belfort could potentially compete outside of the UFC following his fight against Nate Marquardt at UFC 212 on June 3, Guilherme Cruz of MMAFighting.com reports.

Fantasy Analysis

Belfort is lined up for what has been called a "retirement fight" by many, but hanging up the gloves may not necessarily be in "The Phenom's" future. "(I will) leave the UFC, but I'll continue competing," the 40-year-old told Veja Rio, a Brazilian media outlet. There are plenty of promotions overseas that would welcome the well-known veteran, many of which have not outlawed the testosterone replacement therapy that Belfort was forced to stop using when USADA took over UFC drug testing in July 2015. Though it may be in Belfort's best interest to step away from combat sports after 39 professional fights dating back to 1996, one of MMA's most well-respected middleweights of all time doesn't appear ready just yet.
Brandon Moreno    UFC    Flyweight
Moreno will participate in a flyweight bout against Sergio Pettis at UFC Fight Night on Aug. 5 in Mexico City.

Fantasy Analysis

Moreno is coming off a strong submission victory over Dustin Ortiz in his last fight and will be looking to expand his already decent resume against a fierce competitor in Pettis. This could be Moreno's biggest engagement to date, as he will be headlining a Fight Night in his home country with the likely opportunity to become the contender for flyweight champion Demetrious Johnson's title belt.
Sergio Pettis    UFC    Flyweight
Pettis will take on Brandon Moreno in a flyweight bout at UFC Fight Night in Mexico City on Aug. 5.

Fantasy Analysis

Pettis was supposed to fight Henry Cejudo at UFC 211 on May 13, but the fight was cancelled after Cejudo sustained a hand injury prior to the bout. Pettis is riding a three-fight win streak and will have an excellent opportunity to expand his resume during this Fight Night in Mexico City -- the bout will headline the event and the winner will likely be the next contender to take on flyweight champion Demetrious Johnson for the title.
Zak Ottow    UFC    Welterweight
Ottow will fill in for Warlley Alves at UFC Fight Night 110 against Kiichi Kunimoto.

Fantasy Analysis

Alves, who suffered an undisclosed injury, was required to step away from the bout, opening up the opportunity for Ottow to improve on his 1-1 mark as a fighter. Kunimoto hasn't fought since February of 2015, but the veteran could give Ottow a battle in the Octagon in New Zealand.
Kiichi Kunimoto    UFC    Welterweight
Kunimoto will get the opportunity to fight Zak Ottow at UFC Fight Night 110 because Warlley Alves had to back out with an injury.

Fantasy Analysis

Kunimoto is returning to the Octagon for the first time in over two years, and Ottow is making just his third MMA appearance. The 35-year-old veteran has the experience edge, but it remains to be seen if so long outside of the ring will turn the bout in favor of Ottow.
Warlley Alves    UFC    Middleweight
Alves had to back out of UFC Fight Night 110 against Kiichi Kunimoto on June 11 due to injury.

Fantasy Analysis

The late injury is bringing Zak Ottow to New Zealand for the welterweight fight. Ottow has a 1-1 overall record against Kunimoto, who hasn't fought in over two years. It is unknown just how severe Alves' injury is and how long he is expected to be out, but the UFC should update his status in the coming months.
Junior Albini    UFC    Heavyweight
Albini will face Tim Johnson in a heavyweight matchup at UFC on FOX 25 on July 22 in Long Island, MMAFighting.com reports.

Fantasy Analysis

Albini is a newcomer to the UFC with a 13-2 career record. He is on a nine-fight winning streak that began in 2013, seven of which have ended in stoppage. The 26-year-old Brazilian will be looking to take down Tim Johnson and make a name for himself with the promotion.
Tim Johnson    UFC    Heavyweight
Johnson will face Junior Albini in a heavyweight battle at UFC on FOX 25 on July 22 in Long Island, MMAFighting.comreports.

Fantasy Analysis

Johnson has an 11-3 record (3-2 UFC) with his last four fights ending in decision. He alternates fighting styles, but can always lean on his wrestling as a two-time Division II All-American wrestler. He will enter his sixth UFC fight as the No. 12-ranked heavyweight in the UFC after a win over Daniel Omielanczuk in March (spilt decision).
Juliana Lima    UFC    strawweight
Lima will face Amanda Ribas in a strawweight bout at TUF 25 Finale on July 7 at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Guilherme Cruz of MMAFighting.com reports.

Fantasy Analysis

Lima has more experience than her opponent, Amanda Ribas, who is making her UFC debut. She is also 12 years older. Since joining the UFC in 2014, "Ju Thai" has gained a 3-2 record (9-3 MMA) with losses coming from formidable fighters Joanna Jedrzejczyk and Carla Esparza.
Amanda Ribas    UFC    Strawweight
Ribas will face Juliana Lima in a strawweight fight at TUF 25 Finale on July 7 at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Guilherme Cruz of MMAFighting.com reports.

Fantasy Analysis

Ribas has been in the MMA since 2014 when she won the IMMAF World Championship. Since then, the 23-year-old jiu-jitsu and judo black belt has racked up a 6-1 record with three TKOs and only one fight that went the distance.
Darren Elkins    UFC    Featherweight
Elkins will face Dennis Bermudez in a featherweight bout at UFC on FOX 25 on July 22 in Long Island, MMAFighting.comreports.

Fantasy Analysis

Elkins has four straight wins since 2015, three of which have gone the distance. He lands an average 3.04 significant strikes per minute and 2.77 takedowns every 15 minutes. However, his accuracy for both is a little over 30 percent. "The Damage" maintains a 22-6 career record.
Dennis Bermudez    UFC    Featherweight
Bermudez will face Darren Elkins in a featherweight matchup at UFC on FOX 25 on July 22 in Long Island, MMAFighting.comreports.

Fantasy Analysis

Bermudez will head into the Octagon with after suffering a first-round loss in his headline fight against Chan Sung Jung in February (KO/TKO-punch). "The Menace" lands about twice as many significant strikes per minute as he absorbs (4.34 to 2.81). However, nine of the Long Island MMA product's wins were gained through decision. He is currently 17-6 overall.
Gabriel Benitez    UFC    Featherweight
Benitez has received a medical suspension of 180 days from the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation after his UFC 211 loss to Enrique Barzola, MMAFighting.com reports.

Fantasy Analysis

Benitez lost a closely scored fight with Enrique Barzola via unanimous decision (28-29, 28-29, 28-29). While Benitez landed slightly more significant strikes (51 to 46), Barzola scored nine takedowns. Benitez didn't attempt any takedowns and had poor defense against these attacks. As a result of the fight, Benitez will have 180 days of medical suspension unless cleared earlier by a physician. Other fighters receiving suspensions of 45 days or longer include Dustin Poirier (45 days), Junior dos Santos (45 days), Yair Rodriguez (45 days), Chas Skelly (180 days) and Jason Knight (45 days).
