Kyle Beckerman    M    Real Salt Lake
Beckerman is not in Saturday's lineup due to a calf injury, according to Chris Kamrani of the Salt lake Tribune.

Fantasy Analysis

Beckerman has not played very well in his seven starts this season, with no goals or assists. He will be replaced by Sunny in the starting lineup.
David Villa    F    New York City FC
Villa (illness) is not in the 18-man lineup Saturday against Columbus.

Fantasy Analysis

Villa had missed practice this week with the illness , but was expected to be back Saturday. He will be replaced by Sean Okoli in the starting lineup until he returns to health.
Mauro Diaz    M    FC Dallas
Diaz (Achilles) was seen doing some light training Wednesday, according to Dallas' website.

Fantasy Analysis

Diaz tore his Achilles six months ago, but his return to training, even in a limited capacity, is promising for a possible return early in the summer. Once he returns Dallas' offense, already potent, will gain another strong attacking option.
Josef Martinez    F    Atlanta United
Martinez (quad) will likely not return for at least two more weeks, Doug Roberson of the Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports.

Fantasy Analysis

Martinez was expected to miss a month with the injury, but he seems to be progressing slower than expected. While he is out Kenwyne Jones will likely continue to start at the forward spot.
Nick DeLeon    M/D    D.C. United
DeLeon (thigh) hasn't practiced and is a doubt to miss Sunday's match against Atlanta, the Washington Post reports.

Fantasy Analysis

DeLeon missed last week's match and is set to miss another after starting the first six games of the season. Lamar Neagle is set for another appearance in the starting XI for D.C., although in a tough spot.
Patrick Nyarko    F/M    D.C. United
Nyarko (hamstring) hasn't trained and is a doubt for Sunday's match against Atlanta, the Washington Post reports.

Fantasy Analysis

Nyarko has missed the last two matches and is set to miss another. In five starts this season, he has yet to score or assist. Lamar Neagle and Sebastien Le Toux started last match, but Le Toux is dealing with an injury now as well.
Chad Marshall    D    Seattle Sounders FC
Marshall is dealing with some back pain and is out for Saturday's match against the Revolution, according to manager Brian Schmetzer.

Fantasy Analysis

Marshall dealt with a hamstring injury earlier in the season and is now missing time due to a sore back. With Roman Torres also unlikely, Seattle would turn to Tony Alfaro again at center back along with Gustav Svensson.
Rob Vincent    M    D.C. United
Vincent (knee) could be out for another one to two months, according to Steven Goff of the Washington Post.

Fantasy Analysis

Vincent was expected to be coming back soon, but due to a blood clot suffered because of the knee surgery, he will not return for at least a month. He was not expected to receive much playing time this season, but with the rash of injuries in the midfield D.C. could have used the depth his return would provide.
Sal Zizzo    M/D    New York Red Bulls
Zizzo missed last week's match with a calf strain, but practiced this week and could be ready for Saturday's match against the Fire, Metro US reports.

Fantasy Analysis

Zizzo had become a fixture in the starting XI this season and was replaced by Connor Lade last week. If Zizzo can't go, Lade would draw another start in a favorable spot at home against Chicago.
Kei Kamara    F    New England Revolution
Kamara did not travel with the team to Seattle for Saturday's match, according to Kyle McCarthy of the Boston Herald.

Fantasy Analysis

Kamara's wife is expecting a child, which is why he did not travel with the team. He will likely be replaced by Femi Hollinger-Janzen in the starting lineup, but Kamara will likely be back for the match against Columbus on May 6.
Ashtone Morgan    D    Toronto FC
Morgan has recovered from his stress fracture, but is still working his way up to match fitness and may not be ready for Friday's match against Houston, according to Sportsnet.

Fantasy Analysis

Even with Morgan out, the Toronto back line has been just fine with Justin Morrow and youngster Raheem Edwards filling in. The Toronto defense should be something to monitor going forward.
Clint Irwin    G    Toronto FC
Irwin (hamstring) returned to full training this week, but likely isn't ready for Friday's match against Houston, according to Sportsnet.

Fantasy Analysis

Alex Bono has started the last five matches for Toronto and will likely get a sixth on Friday. However, expect Irwin to fight for his starting spot as soon as next week.
Kortne Ford    D    Colorado Rapids
Ford has been suspended for Saturday's match against Orlando City due to a serious foul play that endangered the safety of an opponent during last weekend's match against Colorado, MLSsoccer.com reports.

Fantasy Analysis

Ford has started each of the last three games for the Rapids, and his absence will certainly be a tough blow while trying to slow down a decent Orlando City attack that could have Kaka back.
Nick Rimando    G    Real Salt Lake
Rimando is questionable for Saturday's match against Sporting KC because of a hamstring injury, according to Chris Kamrani of the Salt Lake Tribune.

Fantasy Analysis

Rimando's absence would certainly be a big blow to the RSL defense. Matt Van Oekel could get the start if Rimando has to sit out.
Rasmus Schuller    M    Minnesota United
Schuller is questionable for Saturday's match against San Jose because of a left thigh injury, the team's official website reports.

Fantasy Analysis

Schuller's absence would be a hit to Minnesota's defensive depth, but his lack of a guaranteed spot in the starting XI means his absence isn't likely to affect many fantasy teams.
Jake Gleeson    G    Portland Timbers
Gleeson (hip) has been ruled out for Saturday's match against FC Dallas, The Oregonian reports.

Fantasy Analysis

Gleeson was unable to play last weekend against Vancouver because of the injury, and his absence will likely allow Jeff Attinella to start again. On the plus side, Gleeson is expected to return to training next week and should be available to face the Earthquakes on May 6.
Diego Valeri    M    Portland Timbers
Valeri (hip) has been ruled out for Saturday's match against FC Dallas, The Oregonian reports.

Fantasy Analysis

Valeri's absence will be a major blow to the Timbers' attack, and they'll have to rely more on Darlington Nagbe and Sebastian Blanco to push the ball towards the net. Valeri's injury is considered minor, and he is expected to return May 6 against the Earthquakes.
Sebastien Le Toux    M    D.C. United
Le Toux did not practice Tuesday with an elbow injury, according to Steven Goff of the Washington Post.

Fantasy Analysis

Le Toux suffered the injury during last Saturday's match, depleting the forward position for D.C. further, with Patrick Mullins already injured. If he misses any time with the injury he will likely be replaced by Jose Guillermo Ortiz in the starting lineup.
Alex Crognale    D    Columbus Crew
Crognale has a sprained ankle, according to Patrick Murphy of the Massive Report.

Fantasy Analysis

Crognale suffered the injury during last Saturday's match. It is possible he returns for Saturday's match, but if he does not make it back in time he will likely be replaced by Josh Williams.
Bismark Adjei-Boateng    M    Colorado Rapids
Adjei-Boateng will miss significant time with a back injury he suffered April 15.

Fantasy Analysis

Adjei-Boateng fractured three vertebrae, but he will not have surgery, and is expected to miss eight to 10 weeks from April 15. While he is injured Mohammed Saeid will be in the starting spot in the midfield.
Artur    M    Columbus Crew
Artur had surgery on his wrist Monday, after suffering the injury during Saturday's match.

Fantasy Analysis

Artur is expected to miss three matches following the surgery. His presence will be missed, and he will likely be replaced by Mohammed Abu in the starting lineup.
Patrick Mullins    F    D.C. United
Mullins (hamstring) returned to training this week and could be ready for Saturday's match against New England, the Washington Post reports.

Fantasy Analysis

After starting the first few matches of the season, Mullins has missed the last three with Jose Guillermo Ortiz taking his spot. If healthy, both forwards will fight for time going forward.
Steve Birnbaum    D    D.C. United
Birnbaum will miss Saturday's match at New England due to a concussion, the Washington Post reports.

Fantasy Analysis

Birnbaum has started every match for D.C. this season, so this will mix things up in a difficult situation. Kofi Opare or Sean Franklin will likely draw the start, although neither will hold much fantasy value against the Revs.
Khiry Shelton    F    New York City FC
Shelton has been ruled out for four-to-six weeks because of a hamstring injury suffered last Friday at Philadelphia, ESPN FC reports.

Fantasy Analysis

Shelton's absence definitely hurts NYC's attacking depth, though without a regular spot in the starting lineup, he wasn't a great fantasy contributor.
Ronald Matarrita    D    New York City FC
Matarrita has been ruled out for four-to-six weeks because of a high ankle injury suffered in training, the club announced Thursday.

Fantasy Analysis

Matarrita's absence will be a major blow to NYC FC, who could use Rodney Wallace at left-back in the former's place.
Clément Diop    G    Los Angeles Galaxy
Diop is doubtful for Sunday's match against the Galaxy because of a hip injury, the team's official website reports.

Fantasy Analysis

Diop suffered the injury during last weekend's match against Orlando City, though he was able to finish the match. If he is unable to play this Sunday, Brian Rowe could get the start.
Jacob Peterson    F    Atlanta United
Peterson is expected to be sidelined for at least one more week because of a muscular injury, the Atlanta Journal Constitution reports.

Fantasy Analysis

Peterson has missed the last two games because of the injury, though his fantasy impact is rather minimal even when fit because he doesn't have a regular starting spot.
Tim Howard    G    Colorado Rapids
Howard was suspended three games by Major League Soccer on Friday for using foul language toward a fan during last weekend's loss to Sporting KC, MLSsoccer.com reports.

Fantasy Analysis

Zac MacMath is expected to start in place of Howard, who will be eligible to return May 5 against Vancouver.
Brad Evans    M/D    Seattle Sounders FC
Evans could return from his calf injury in one-to-two weeks, the Seattle Times reports.

Fantasy Analysis

Evans' continued absence has been especially tough of late, as Gustav Svensson has had to play along the back line at both right-back and center-back with Roman Torres the most recent absence.
Drew Moor    D    Toronto FC
Moor has been ruled out for Saturday's match against the Crew because of an irregular heartbeat, according to Kurtis Larson of the Toronto Sun.

Fantasy Analysis

Moor's issue is likely to hold him out for longer than just this weekend, and his absence will be a big blow to the TFC back line. Jason Hernandez could get more playing time in Moor's absence.
Oniel Fisher    D    Seattle Sounders FC
Fisher (hamstring) will start Saturday's game against San Jose.

Fantasy Analysis

Fisher will regain his usual spot on the right side of the defense.
