+ Add To Watchlist

Bagley put up 24 points (9-15 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 5-6 FT) to go along with eight rebounds across 29 minutes in Monday's win over Furman.

Bagley now has three 20-point efforts through five outings in what's starting to look like an All-American effort. He dominates the paint and has only collected more than two personal fouls in one outing, fouling out in his last game against Southern. Fantasy owners can continue looking forward to this type of consistency from the freshman as he continues to tear through a likely one-and-done campaign. Monday also marked the first outing where Bagley attempted more than one three-point basket. Should he start hitting those shots with consistency, matchup nightmares will be on the horizon.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Bagley (eye) had a double-double with 19 points (7-12 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 5-9 FT), 11 rebounds, two assists, and two blocks in a 78-61 win over Southern on Friday.

After being taken out of the game on Tuesday because of an eye injury, Bagley showed no ill effects by posting his third double-double of the season. He is now averaging 18.0 points and 9.3 rebounds per game through his first four games of his collegiate career. Bagley will look to have another big game against Furman on Monday.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Bagley (eye) will play Friday against Southern, Jonathon Alexander of The News & Observer reports.

Bagley suffered a minor eye injury in the first half against Michigan State on Tuesday, and had to leave the game. He'll be good to go against Southern, after being officially cleared to play. Bagley is averaging 17.7 points, 8.7 boards and 1.3 steals per game through the first three games of the season.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Coach Mike Krzyzewski believes Bagley (eye) will play Friday against Southern, ESPN's Jeff Goodman reports.

Bagley was lifted from Friday's Champions Classic matchup against Michigan State after only 10 minutes on the floor, yet Duke was still able to prevail due to a 37-point effort from Grayson Allen. In his stead, Javin DeLaurier saw a major uptick in minutes (24), while Marques Bolden and Antonio Vrankovic saw a bit of extended run as well. If Bagley can't go for any reason Friday, it would likely be DeLaurier that gets the start, though it appears coach K is confident his freshman will be suiting up. Stay tuned for an update prior to Friday's tip-off.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Bagley appeared to be poked in the eye and won't return to Tuesday's matchup against Michigan State, ESPN's Jeff Borzello reports.

Bagley took a finger to the eye under the basket in the first half and went to the locker room, but did not return to the bench until the start second half. It is currently unclear if the injury is going to force Bagley to miss any time past Tuesday night's matchup, but their next game is Friday against Southern.

November 10, 2017

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Bagley turned in 25 points, 10 rebounds and a steal in 29 minutes Friday against Elon.

Bailey started off slowly, but finished 12 of 18 from the floor while leading the team in points. He was only 1 of 4 from the line, and failed to connect on his two 3-point attempts. Still, it was a superb debate, albeit against an overmatched opponent.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Bagley was voted the 2017-18 Preseason ACC Rookie of the Year on Thursday.

With NCAA eligibility uncertainty behind him, Bagley enters this year's freshman class on the same tier as the likes of Missouri's Michael Porter Jr. He's expected to start right away in another loaded Duke recruiting class, lining up alongside fellow freshman Wendell Carter in the frontcourt. Bagley offers a diverse offensive arsenal and has a reliable jump shot with a soft touch, which is especially rare for someone standing at 6-11 with a similar wingspan. He should also be able to rack up rebounds and blocks for fantasy owners.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Bagley has been cleared by the NCAA and deemed eligible to play at Duke this season, Matt Norlander of CBS Sports reports.

Bagley announced in mid-August his commitment to Duke and that he planned to reclassify to play the 2017-18 season. With the NCAA's official approval, Bagley solidifies a young and extremely talented Blue Devil frontcourt for the coming season that includes fellow freshman Wendell Carter and returning sophomore Marques Bolden.
