Holiday has hired an agent and will forgo his final season of eligibility at UCLA to enter the 2018 NBA Draft, Shams Charania of Yahoo Sports reports.

Shortly after the Bruins were eliminated in the NCAA tournament in March, Holiday declared for the draft but didn't sign with an agent in order to keep the door open for a potential return to school. However, after apparently garnering positive feedback from NBA scouts regarding his chances to land somewhere in the first round, the 6-foot-1 point guard decided to enter the pro ranks. Holiday's departure will create a major void in the UCLA backcourt after he averaged 20.3 points, 5.8 assists and 3.7 rebounds per game as a junior.

Aaron Holiday: Past News Updates   ( ▲ View most recent update )

March 14, 2018

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Holiday had a team-high 20 points (7-17 FG, 4-11 3Pt, 2-2 FT) to go along with seven assists and five rebounds in Tuesday's loss to St. Bonaventure.

While that line looks great on the surface, Holiday was also responsible for 10 of the Bruins' 20 turnovers -- a surprising mark given that UCLA is nearly in the nation's top-50 in KenPom's turnover percentage metric. Holiday averaged an incredible 25.8 PPG in the month of March, but will end his junior year on a sour note after fouling out and nearly losing his cool in the game's final seconds. Look for Holiday to at least test the NBA draft waters this summer, as there's simply not a lot more for him to accomplish at the collegiate level.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Holiday ended with 15 points (5-20 FG, 3-12 3Pt, 2-2 FT), three assists, and one rebound in 45 minutes during Friday's Pac-12 semifinal loss to Arizona.

Holiday and the Bruins were able to push the Wildcats into an overtime scenario, but weren't able to overcome Arizona's late push. The junior guard shot a dismal 5-of-20 from the field in Friday's game, but despite this inefficiency still put up 15 points. He will be a key player to watch in postseason play for the Bruins.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Holiday put up a team-high 20 points (6-15 FG, 4-10 3Pt, 4-5 FT), five assists, and one rebound in 35 minutes during Saturday's loss to Arizona State.

Holiday's effort wasn't enough to lead UCLA to a win on Saturday, however, the junior guard has impressive averages of 19.1 points, 5.5 assists, 3.5 rebounds, and 1.4 steals in 36.9 minutes per game. He has now scored 20 points or more in four of his past five games. Look for Holiday and the Bruins to attempt to bounce back against Oregon State on Thursday.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Holiday notched 14 points (3-10 FG, 1-6 3Pt, 7-8 FT), five assists, one steal in 30 minutes of play during Saturday's loss to Oregon.

Holiday has scored 14 points or more in four of his past five contests. The junior is averaging 18.8 points, 5.1 assists, and 3.7 rebounds in 36.6 minutes per game. His next chance at production will be against California on Thursday.

December 9, 2017

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Holiday's 27 points (9-17 FG, 2-5 3Pt, 7-8 FT), seven assists, and four rebounds wasn't enough to overpower Michigan on Saturday.

Despite a monster performance from Holiday and teammate Thomas Welsh, the Bruins fell short in overtime. Holiday is averaging 16.5 points, 5.5 points, 3.8 rebounds, and 2.1 steals in 35.4 minutes per game. He will likely continue on as one of UCLA's top scoring options alongside freshman Kris Wilkes.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Holiday and the Bruins will not play Wednesday against Montana, as the game has been cancelled due to wildfires in the Los Angeles area, Matt Norlander of CBS Sports reports.

Fantasy owners counting on a two-game week from Holiday and company get a tough break, though one can hardly fault the school for making the health and safety of the students and fans top priority. Holiday and the Bruins will now be well rested by the time they take the court against the Wolverines on Saturday in Ann Arbor.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Holiday had a team-high 18 points (7-12 FG, 2-4 3Pt, 2-3 FT), five assists, three steals, and two rebounds in 35 minutes, including the game-winning layup, during Tuesday's win over Wisconsin.

Holiday came up big against the Badgers to lay-in the final bucket at the buzzer before Ethan Happ could make a block. Holiday is averaging 17.0 points, 5.8 assists, 3.3 rebounds, and 2.3 steals per game in 2017-18 thus far.
