RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Bolden (flu) started against Kansas State and provided 13 points (4-6 FG, 3-4 3Pt, 2-2 FT) in 24 minutes in the win on Saturday.

Bolden did not appear limited by his illness, although he did not take as many shots as he usually would in a starting opportunity. The 6-0 "Beetle" has scored in double digits in three of his last five games and has hit 17 3-pointers in that span.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Bolden is a game-time decision for Saturday's game against Kansas State due to a case of the flu, Jon Rothstein of CBS Sports reports.

West Virginia's corps has been hit hard by the flu as Bolden, Lamont West, and Daxter Miles are all game-time decisions due to the illness. If Bolden and Miles sit out Saturday, the Mountaineers will be compromised at shooting guard. Chase Harler would likely have to take over at the two if both Bolden and Miles are unable to go Saturday.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Bolden -- who aggravated his groin injury at the end of the first half Monday against TCU and didn't return in the second half, per WVSports.com -- will play Saturday against Kentucky, Jon Rothstein of CBS Sports reports.

Bolden will tough it out after playing just 12 minutes during Monday's affair because of the ailment, and he should provide his usual allotment of minutes off the bench assuming it holds up. Although he doesn't consistently rack up a ton of points, Bolden does go off on occasion to balance his box score to an average of 9.4 points, 2.2 rebounds, 1.2 assists and 1.1 steals per game.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Bolden scored 10 points (4-7 FG, 2-4 3Pt) in the win over Pittsburgh on Saturday.

The Mountaineers use Bolden as instant offense off the bench. He has hit eight 3-pointers in his last three games, despite not playing more than 19 minutes. The 6-0 sophomore is averaging 10.9 points and is hitting 48.1 percent of his 3-pointers.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Bolden put in 19 points (7-15 FG, 5-11 3Pt), three rebounds, one assist, one steal, and a block in the loss to Texas A&M on Friday.

Bolden's 19 points were a career high, and they came in just 24 minutes off the bench no less. He averaged only 5.8 minutes in his freshman campaign last season, but it would be reasonable to expect he significantly ups that number this year. Head coach Bob Huggins is known for using lots of players in his rotation, so it can be hard to project what the minutes distribution is going to look like. As long as Bolden is getting buckets, however, he is going to get the minutes. West Virginia will take on American University next Wednesday.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Bolden played just 10 minutes but went off for 17 points (6-11 FG, 3-6 3Pt, 2-2 FT) in the win over Oklahoma on Wednesday.

Bolden hadn't scored in double figures all season before this huge breakout game. The spark he gave the Mountaineers was huge in this very low scoring affair. This kind of performance is definitely going to give Head Coach Bob Huggins something to think about. Bolden is averaging just 7.4 MPG this season so he might get more of a look to provide some much needed scoring for this West Virginia team.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Bolden (knee) played in the Mountaineers’ first exhibition game Saturday against WVU Tech, The Register-Herald reports.

The redshirt freshman is working his way back into West Virginia’s lineup after suffering a torn ACL last September. With starting guards Jevon Carter and Daxter Miles returning to the backcourt, Bolden will compete with seniors Tarik Phillip and Teyvon Myers for playing time off the bench.
