RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Cunningham totaled four receptions for 81 yards in Friday's 33-0 season-ending loss to the Tiger-Cats.

Cunningham provided one of the Alouettes' few highlights on the night with his game-long 39-yard reception. He finishes the season on a strong note, having logged 14 receptions for 228 yards over his final three games. The 28-year-old enjoyed his most successful CFL campaign to date, eclipsing the 1,000-yard mark for the first time (1,128 yards) and also posting career highs in receptions (69) and YPC (16.3). The Alouettes will likely look to him as a cornerstone of the offense heading into next season.

October 28, 2017

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Cunningham caught five passes for 87 yards in Friday's 37-12 loss to the Roughriders.

The third-year CFL receiver now has his first career 1000-yard campaign, and Cunningham needs only one more catch in the season's final game next Friday in Hamilton to top the 65 he hauled in last year. Assuming he returns to Montreal in 2018, Cunningham should be the club's top deep threat and a potential breakout player if the front office can improve the situation at quarterback.

October 22, 2017

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Cunningham totaled five receptions for 60 yards in Sunday's 43-16 loss to the Tiger-Cats.

Cunningham has been able to maintain steady production despite the Alouettes' plethora of problems behind center, as he has no less than three catches in seven of his last eight games. The 28-year-old is now just six receptions away from establishing a new career high and is 40 yards shy of his first 1,000-yard campaign. He'll look to reach both marks in a Week 19 battle against the Roughriders.

September 24, 2017

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Cunningham managed five receptions for 36 yards in Saturday's 33-19 loss to the Argonauts.

The 28-year-old had a share of the team lead in receptions, but he was only able to average 7.2 yards per catch. It was the second straight game for Cunningham with a single-digit YPC figure, following back-to-back contests in Weeks 11 and 12 when he'd tallied well over 20 yards per grab. The variance in production appears to largely be a byproduct of Darian Durant's struggles at quarterback, making Cunningham much more of a GPP option in DFS contests for the time being. He'll look to up his yardage totals versus the Stampeders in Week 15.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Cunningham hauled in four receptions for 105 yards in Friday's 41-18 loss to the Lions.

On a night when the Als took a pounding, Cunningham's effort was one of the few bright spot. The 29-year-old wideout posted an impressive 26.3 yards per reception, his second straight game posting over 20 yards per catch. It was also Cunningham's third game this season eclipsing the century mark in receiving yards and his eighth overall in which he's notched at least four receptions. His relatively safe fantasy floor and obvious rapport with quarterback Darian Durant continue to make him a strong play each week, and he'll look to continue that trend against the Redblacks in Week 13.

September 1, 2017

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Cunningham brought in four receptions for 89 yards in Thursday's 32-4 loss to the Redblacks.

Cunningham was essentially the lone bright spot on a dismal night for the Als offense, with the 22.3 yards he averaged on his four catches checking in as his best total in that category since Week 1. The 28-year-old has nine receptions for 158 yards and a touchdown in the last two games combined, but the inconsistent play behind center has likely served to cap his fantasy potential to an extent. He'll look to help the Als put Thursday's nightmarish performance behind them in a Week 12 showdown against the Lions.

August 25, 2017

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Cunningham caught five passes for 69 yards and a touchdown in Thursday's 34-31 overtime loss to the Blue Bombers.

His 15-yard TD grab in the extra frame gave the Als some hope for revenge after the Bombers staged a huge comeback against them in Week 6, but Darian Durant's interception on Montreal's second overtime possession squashed that hope. Cunningham has already tied his previous career high with four scores on the season, and the third-year receiver is also well on his way to his first 1,000-yard campaign.

July 28, 2017

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Cunningham caught six passes for 109 yards and a touchdown in Thursday's 41-40 loss to the Blue Bombers.

It's the second straight game in which Cunningham has broken the century mark, and the 28-year-old now sits third in the CFL in receiving yards with 475. It took a few games for veteran quarterback Darian Durant to adjust to the Montreal offense, but he and Cunningham now seem to be emerging as one of the league's most explosive combos.

July 19, 2017

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Cunningham caught five passes for 101 yards in Wednesday's 24-19 loss to the Redblacks.

The third-year CFL receiver topped 100 receiving yards for the first time this season but has been Darian Durant's most consistent target so far in 2017, racking up 60 yards or catching a TD pass in four of five games so far. Cunningham should remain on the fantasy radar next week when the Als travel to Winnipeg.

July 14, 2017

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Cunningham caught four passes for 73 yards and a touchdown in Friday's 30-23 win over the Stampeders.

While the Als' passing game hasn't exactly been firing on all cylinders so far, Cunningham has remained a fairly consistent fantasy producer and now has 15 catches for 265 yards and two TDs through four games, putting him on pace for a career year.

July 6, 2017

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Cunningham caught five passes for 62 yards in Thursday's 23-16 loss to the Lions.

His 34-yard catch in the fourth quarter deep into BC territory helped set up Montreal's only touchdown of the game. Cunningham's five catches were a season high but Darian Durant doesn't yet have the Als' offense firing on all cylinders, which could make Cunningham an inconsistent fantasy option as the team's best deep threat.

June 22, 2017

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Cunningham caught four passes for a team-high 90 yards and a touchdown in Thursday's 17-16 win over the Roughriders.

He also ran for 21 yards on his lone carry. Cunningham's 65-yard catch opened the scoring in the second quarter, but he was quiet most of the rest of the night. The 28-year-old took a step forward last season in his second CFL campaign, catching 65 passes for 855 yards and four TDs in 17 games, and he's on his way to matching or exceeding those numbers in what could be a breakout season.

June 22, 2017

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Cunningham will start at slotback in Thursday's season opener against the Roughriders.

Cunningham was one of the Alouettes' top options in the passing game last year, racking up 855 yards over 17 games, and he figures to occupy a similar role in 2017.

November 6, 2016

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Cunningham caught three passes for 58 yards and a touchdown in Saturday's win over the Tiger-Cats.

It was his first TD since Week 15 and best yardage total since Week 13, as Cunningham faded after a quick start to the season. The second-year player still set career highs in receptions (65) and yards (855) in 2016, and should be an important part of a young Als passing attack next year.

October 3, 2016

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Cunningham caught three passes for 38 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's win over the Argos.

It's Cunningham's first TD in seven games and just his third on the season, as the Alouettes' normally quiet passing game hasn't afforded him many scoring opportunities. He could find paydirt two weeks in a row though, as Montreal could be forced into a shootout next Monday when they host Edmonton.

September 17, 2016

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Cunningham caught seven passes for 63 yards Friday, both team highs, in a loss to the Tiger-Cats.

Hamilton's defense didn't allow Rakeem Cato to build any momentum on offense, but Cunningham was still able to post moderately useful numbers. He's been Cato's favorite target so far, and that's not likely to change unless the Als make another switch at quarterback.

September 10, 2016

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Cunningham caught five passes for a team-high 101 yards in Friday's loss to the Lions.

New starting quarterback Rakeem Cato spread the ball around evenly among his three main targets, but Cunningham did the most damage with his targets. Look for the whole Alouettes' passing game to perk up next Friday in Hamilton in what could be a shootout against Zach Collaros and the Ti-Cats.

August 27, 2016

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Cunningham totaled 80 yards and a two-point conversion on eight receptions in Friday's 32-18 loss to the Blue Bombers. He did not gain any yards on his sole rush.

The 27-year-old's reception total was a high-water mark in 2016, while his 80 yards represented his second-best total of the season in that category. Cunningham's numbers actually paced all receivers on the night, while his two-point conversion catch helped give the Als what would be a rare lead on the night in the second quarter. Cunningham has notably stepped up his production in the last three weeks, with 16 receptions for 242 yards over that span.

August 19, 2016

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Cunningham amassed 64 yards on three catches and tallied 12 yards and a touchdown on his sole carry in Friday's 43-19 victory over the Redblacks.

The 27-year-old wideout made the most of his limited touches, capping a six-play, 75-yard drive early in the third quarter with a rushing touchdown on a sweep. Cunningham also made a juggling over-the-shoulder grab on one of his receptions, while making another key grab over the middle to extend the third-quarter drive that he eventually scored on. The 21.3 YPC for the night was Cunningham's best since Week 1 and he now has 12 receptions for 217 yards over his last three games.

August 12, 2016

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Cunningham tallied a team-high 98 yards on five catches in Thursday's 23-12 loss to the Eskimos.

The 27-year-old has already equaled his reception total from last season, while his yardage total served as his season high in that category. Cunningham's night included a spectacular leaping 42-yard grab early in the second quarter, and he generally thrived as a result of the Eskimos effectively blanketing No. 1 wideout Duron Carter the majority of the game. Although he can't necessarily be counted on to offer this type of production weekly, Cunningham does serve as an important secondary component of the Als offense on most weeks.

August 5, 2016

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Cunningham caught four passes for 55 yards and a touchdown in Thursday's loss to the Lions.

Although he's been seeing minimal targets Cunningham has scored in two straight games, salvaging his fantasy value. He's still only caught 17 passes for 166 yards over the last four games though, making him a very risky play as long as Duron Carter is dominating the looks from QB Kevin Glenn.

July 16, 2016

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Cunningham caught six passes for 63 yards in Friday's loss to the Tiger-Cats.

Injuries to Kenny Stafford (toe) and S.J. Green (knee) have pushed Cunningham into a starting role and he responded with a solid effort his first time out despite some erratic quarterback play from Rakeen Cato and Vernon Adams Jr. Kevin Glenn (eye) could be back under center by Montreal's next game July 25 in Toronto though, which should provide a better look at what Cunningham's capable of with a larger workload.
