RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Harris completed 37 of 60 passes for 457 yards with two touchdowns and two interceptions in Sunday's 31-20 Eastern Semi-Final loss to the Roughriders. He also gained four yards on his sole rush.

Harris was forced to put up a season-high amount of pass attempts with the Redblacks trailing by a sizable margin for extended stretches. The 31-year-old displayed the most synergy with Diontae Spencer and Juron Criner, with whom he connected on 20 occasions for 259 yards and two touchdowns. Harris' interceptions did undercut Ottawa's efforts, however, and put a disappointing cap on an otherwise productive season. Harris threw for a career-high 4,679 yards in 2017, while also reaching the 30-touchdown mark for the second time in his career. The prolific signal caller will look to help the Redblacks avenge their early postseason exit in 2018, with the likes of Spencer and Criner projected to serve as key weapons.

October 27, 2017

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Harris completed 26 of 38 passes for 313 yards with two touchdowns and three interceptions in Friday's 41-36 win over the Tiger-Cats. He also gained a yard on his one rush.

Harris fired multiple touchdowns for the third straight contest and eclipsed the 300-yard mark for the fifth time in the last seven games. The veteran quarterback also threw a clutch 12-yard touchdown to Juron Criner with 4:03 remaining, bringing the Redblacks to within 34-33 at the time. Harris threw multiple picks for the first time since Week 10 and hit the 30-touchdown mark on the season with Friday's effort. His efforts helped Ottawa claim first place in the East Division for the moment, leaving them poised for a first-round bye if the Argonauts are defeated in Week 20.

October 14, 2017

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Harris completed 17 of 33 passes for 262 yards and two touchdowns with one interception in Friday's 33-32 win over the Roughriders.

For the second straight week Harris led a big comeback, hitting Greg Ellingson in the end zone with two and a half minutes left in the fourth quarter before getting the ball back and driving the Redblacks to the one-yard line, setting up Ryan Lindley's game-winning TD run. Ottawa now sits in first place in the East Division pending the results of Toronto's clash with Edmonton on Saturday, and Harris' heroics have guaranteed them at least one home playoff game. The Redblacks will get a well-earned rest next week before hosting the Ti-Cats on Oct. 27.

October 8, 2017

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Harris completed 28 of 38 passes for 380 yards and three touchdowns in Saturday's 30-25 win over the Lions.

After missing nearly a month with a separated shoulder, Harris looked a little rusty in the first half, but he flipped the switch midway through the third quarter and led the Redblacks to 24 unanswered points to secure the road victory. He's now 251 passing yards shy of setting a new career high, a feat Harris could accomplish as soon as Friday in Saskatchewan.

October 6, 2017

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Harris (shoulder) is listed as the starting quarterback on the depth chart ahead of Saturday's game against the Lions.

Harris has been out for almost a month after separating his shoulder during a game in early September. He will wind up only missing three games due to the injury, and is set to rejoin the team after taking first-team reps during practice for most of this week.

October 3, 2017

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Harris (shoulder) took the first-team reps at Tuesday's practice and remains on track to play Saturday against the Lions, TSN reports.

Harris missed the last three games with his shoulder injury, but it was reported last week that he was on track to return in Week 16, and his participation in Tuesday's practice brings him closer to actually doing so.

September 29, 2017

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Harris (shoulder) is on track to play against the Lions on Oct. 7, Matthew Scianitti of TSN reports.

Harris, who tore three ligaments in his shoulder, is working through a '24-hour recovery process' filled with supplements and therapy in order to gear up for the affair. Figuring to resume his role as the starter when healthy, Harris' return would seemingly bump Ryan Lindley out from his current ranking as the No.1 quarterback in Harris' absence. On the year, Harris is 327-of-463 for 3,724 yards, 23 touchdowns and seven interceptions.

September 27, 2017

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Harris (shoulder) is out for Friday's game against the Roughriders, AJ Jakubec of TSN Radio 1200 reports.

As expected, Harris will remain on the six-game injured list. As a result of his absence, Ryan Lindley will draw the start Friday while Drew Tate is also available, though working back from shoulder and rib injuries.

September 27, 2017

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Harris (shoulder) is "highly unlikely" to play during Friday's game against the Roughriders, as he was on the sideline during Wednesday's practice without a helmet on while the four other quarterbacks were participating, Tim Baines of Postmedia reports.

It appears Harris will remain on the six-game injured list for the time being. Ryan Lindley and Drew Tate look to be the frontrunners to start Friday's contest.

September 26, 2017

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Harris (shoulder) could play during Friday's game against the Roughriders, David William Naylor of TSN reports.

A decision on the team's starting quarterback is expected Wednesday. Ryan Lindley started Friday's loss and was seen taking first team reps at Tuesday's practice.

September 21, 2017

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Harris (shoulder) remains on the six-game injured list ahead of Friday's game against the Blue Bombers.

Harris was placed on the six-game injured list last week ahead of the team's contest with the Alouettes, and while there was some optimism surrounding the quarterback after he was seen throwing at practice Wednesday, the team will remain cautious. Given that Harris was active this week, however, there is a chance he could be activated early. Ryan Lindley is set to start at quarterback for the Redblacks this week.

September 20, 2017

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Harris (shoulder), though not a participant in Wednesday's practice, was seen throwing 35-yard passes on the sideline, Tim Baines of Postmedia reports.

Things seem to be pointing in the right direction for Harris, who is dealing with a separated shoulder. He should be considered questionable in advance of Friday's game against the Blue Bombers, but it's worth noting that reserve Ryan Lindley was with the first team during Wednesday's practice.

September 13, 2017

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Harris' (shoulder) injury is a separation and not a bruise, as was originally reported, Tim Baines of Postmedia reports.

While the clarification sounds worse, Harris is optimistic and hopes to beat the recovery time frame with a goal of returning in two weeks. In the meantime, Drew Tate appears to be the next man up under center.

September 11, 2017

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Harris is dealing with a bruised shoulder, according to head coach Rick Campbell, and will be out "a matter of weeks," AJ Jakubec of TSN Radio 1200 reports.

Campbell did not provide any other details regarding Harris' status, but his comments indicate Harris will miss at least a couple games. Drew Tate will step in as the Redblacks' starting quarterback for the time being.

September 9, 2017

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Harris left Saturday evening's matchup with the Tiger-Cats after going down with an apparent shoulder injury, Matthew Scianitti of TSN reports.

Harris hurt his shoulder after getting absolutely leveled by Hamilton's Davon Coleman on a shotgun pass during the third quarter. Drew Tate has entered the game to assume quarterback duties in Harris' stead.

August 31, 2017

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Harris completed 32 of 41 passes for 343 yards with three touchdowns and one interception in Thursday's 32-4 win over the Als. He also gained a yard on two rushes and completed a two-point conversion pass.

Harris now has three consecutive 300-yard efforts and multiple touchdown passes in six of his last seven games. Thursday, he completed a blistering 78 percent of his throws while connecting with Greg Ellingson, Joshua Stangby and Diontae Spencer for his trio of scores. Harris now has a sterling 22:7 TD:INT ratio on the season and will look to keep his torrid pace going against the Ti-Cats in Week 12.

August 26, 2017

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Harris completed 30 of 45 passes for 326 yards with one touchdown and two interceptions in Saturday's 31-24 win over the Lions. He also gained 15 yards on his two rushes.

Harris now has 622 yards passing over his last two games and has at least one passing touchdown in each game this season. Saturday also marked his first multi-interception night of the campaign, but he still boasts an impressive 19:6 TD:INT ratio on the season. He did an excellent job of spreading the ball around Saturday as well, connecting with eight different pass catchers overall. Harris will look to keep the momentum going against the Als in Week 12.

August 18, 2017

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Harris completed 36 of 48 passes for 394 yards with two touchdowns and no interceptions in Friday's 37-18 win over the Ti-Cats.

Harris enjoyed one of his most productive efforts of the season against a Ti-Cats secondary that came in ranked as the generous in the CFL. The veteran signal caller completed a whopping 75 percent of his throws and fired a pair of touchdowns for the fifth straight contest. What was most encouraging from a fantasy perspective was Harris' return to prominence after three rather ordinary weeks during which he'd thrown for less than 300 yards. He'll look to follow up with a successful encore against the Lions in Week 10.

August 10, 2017

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Harris completed 26 of 37 passes for 266 yards and two touchdowns with one interception in Thursday's 27-20 loss to Edmonton.

He now leads the CFL in passing yards (2468) and passing TDs (16), although Harris has played one more game than nay of his immediate competition in those categories. The 31-year-old is well on his way to a career year, even if his impressive numbers haven't helped the 1-6-1 Redblacks get into the win column.

August 4, 2017

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Harris completed 27 of 39 passes for 263 yards and two touchdowns in Friday's 33-30 loss to the Blue Bombers.

He nearly led Ottawa to their second win of the year, but a late collapse by the defense undid Harris' work. The 31-year-old is still averaging 314.6 passing yards a game with a strong 14:3 TD:INT through seven contests, and as long as the Redblacks' defense keeps digging holes for Harris and the offense to climb out of, he should continue to put up excellent fantasy numbers.

July 24, 2017

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Harris completed 16 of 26 passes for 184 yards with two touchdowns, one two-point conversion pass and one interception in Monday's 27-24 loss to the Argos. He also gained 20 yards on three rushes and fumbled twice.

Playing on short rest, Harris and the rest of the Redblacks' normally potent offense frequently looked out of sync Monday, and the matchup against the most ferocious defensive front in the CFL certainly didn't help matters. Harris had the ball knocked loose twice, appearing to get banged up on one occasion but not missing any plays. The yardage total was easily Harris' lowest of the season, as were the 26 pass attempts. However, considering he'd just put up 41 throws last Wednesday versus the Als, the underwhelming performance is at least partly understandable. Harris and his teammates will try to bounce back in Week 7 versus the Blue Bombers after a well-deserved bye week.

July 19, 2017

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Harris completed 29 of 41 passes for 376 yards and two touchdowns in Wednesday's 24-19 win over the Alouettes.

He might have put up even better numbers, but four Montreal turnovers in the first half gave Harris some short fields to work with, The 31-year-old QB has been very consistent so far in 2017 despite Ottawa's poor 1-3-1 record, throwing for at least 300 yards and multiple scores in four of five games so far, and he seems set for another productive night Monday on the road in Toronto.

July 14, 2017

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Harris completed 23 of 35 passes for 284 yards with a touchdown and no interceptions in Friday's 23-21 loss to the Eskimos. He also gained 12 yards on his sole rush.

Harris was under 300 yards for the first time in the season's first four games, as he ran into a formidable foe in the form of the Eskimos' improved secondary. After tearing through the defenses of the Stamps and Argos, the veteran signal caller did connect with eight different pass catchers, but Greg Ellingson's modest 66 receiving yards served as the team high. Harris and the Redblacks will look to bounce back with a more remarkable offensive effort and notch their first win when they face off with the Als in Week 5.

July 8, 2017

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Harris completed 30 of 43 passes for 370 yards with two touchdowns and one interception in Saturday's 26-25 loss to the Argonauts. He also gained two yards on his sole rush.

Harris completed nearly 70 percent of his passes in what was another prolific performance, but a pair of missed field goals and a bobbled snap on an extra point resulted in Ottawa's comeback attempt falling short. However, the team loss did nothing to erase the luster of Harris' third straight 300-yard passing and multiple touchdown day to open the season. The 31-year-old now has seven touchdowns and 1,095 yards over the first three weeks of the 2017 campaign, and he appears to have an especially strong rapport with Greg Ellingson, who he found for 170 yards and 10 receptions Saturday. Harris has put up no less than 35 pass attempts in any of his first trio of contests, making him one of the most appealing fantasy options on a weekly basis. He'll look to keep his red-hot start going in what could be another shootout against the Edmonton Eskimos in Week 4.

June 29, 2017

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Harris completed 27 of 35 passes for 425 yards with two touchdowns and no interceptions in Thursday's 43-39 loss to the Stampeders.

Harris found success against the Stamps secondary for the second straight week, as he's now compiled 725 yards over the first two weeks versus Calgary. The 31-year-old saw an 80-yard touchdown to Greg Ellingson on Ottawa's first play from scrimmage erased by penalty, but he bounced back to find Brad Sinopoli and Diontae Spencer for scores, with the latter a 65-yarder down the left sideline late in the fourth quarter. Despite the disappointing outcome Thursday, Harris' early play has been highly encouraging, and he'll look to get the Redblacks back in the win column in their Week 3 battle against the new-look Toronto Argonauts.

June 23, 2017

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Harris completed 33 of 45 passes for 300 yards and three touchdowns with one interception in Friday's 31-31 tie with the Stampeders.

After the two teams played to a tie last season before needing extra time to settle their epic clash in the Grey Cup, it's perhaps no surprise that they needed overtime in this one as well. Harris put together a very impressive performance in his first game as the unquestioned starter in Ottawa, and even his INT wasn't really his fault as Calgary DB Jamar Wall flukily caught the ball lying on his back in the end zone after it was tipped at the line of scrimmage. Expect the 31-year-old quarterback to continue posting big numbers this season at the helm of a dangerous passing attack.

June 16, 2017

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Harris did not play in Thursday's preseason finale, but according to the Ottawa Citizen, he is set to open the year as the Redblacks' starting quarterback.

Harris and Henry Burris took turns as Ottawa's starting quarterback in 2016, but with Burris retiring in the offseason, Harris has a clear path to the starter's job this year. Harris came out of the gate hot last year, posting a 9:1 TD:INT over his first three games, but he would go on to throw just seven total touchdown passes for Week 4 on. While it remains to be seen which version of Harris will show up in 2017, he was sharp in Ottawa's first preseason game, completing 12 of his 15 pass attempts for 145 yards and a touchdown.

November 27, 2016

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Harris will be the backup for the Redblacks in the Grey Cup, Gary Lawless of TSN reports.

Henry Burris injured his knee during the team's pregame warmups, and it was enough to allow the medical staff to check on him before clearing him. Harris was the team's emergency quarterback in Week 20 after losing the starting job earlier this year, but could get playing time if the knee injury flares up during the game.

November 1, 2016

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Harris will be listed as the No. 3 quarterback for Friday's game against the Blue Bombers, Al Jakubec of TSN 1200 reports.

Harris, the top backup behind starter Henry Burris, is not falling another spot down the depth chart; rather, the Redblacks are simply being cautious with their top quarterbacks this week before postseason play kicks off: Burris will not play at all and Harris will remain Ottawa's holder but be available on offense only in an emergency. With Burris getting a break and the Redblacks looking to avoid using Harris as well, Brock Jensen will start at quarterback, and Danny O'Brien will serve as the backup.

October 13, 2016

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Harris is listed as the backup quarterback for Friday's game against the Tiger-Cats.

Harris was a turnover machine in last week's loss to the Roughriders and was replaced by Henry Burris, and head coach Rick Campbell decided to stick with Burris at least for one week. Harris could get his job back in due time, but that may require Burris experiencing some struggles of his own.

October 10, 2016

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Harris has seemingly ceded the starting quarterback duties to Henry Burris, as the latter worked with the first team at Monday's practice, according to Al Jakubec of TSN 1200.

Harris was removed Friday's loss to the Roughriders and watched while Burris nearly brought the Redblacks back to claim victory, and it appears he will continue watching Burris for the time being. Harris could get his starting job before the season ends, but for now consider Burris the Redblacks' starting quarterback.

October 8, 2016

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Harris completed 12 pf 21 passes for 120 yards and a touchdown with one interception Friday, adding five carries for 47 yards, but got pulled after three quarters in favor of Henry Burriss in a 32-30 overtime loss to the Roughriders.

Just one game removed from a 485-explosion against the Lions, it's hard to imagine that Harris' starting job is in jeopardy, but Burriss did play well in relief Friday. If Ottawa falls behind next Friday in Hamilton as well, don't be surprised if Harris gets the hook once again.

October 2, 2016

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Harris completed 32 of 45 passes for 485 yards with two touchdowns and an interception in Saturday's 40-33 loss to the Lions. He also gained six yards on two rushes.

The veteran signal-caller exploded for his best performance of 2016 with a season-high in yards. Harris also tallied multiple touchdowns for the fifth time on the campaign and still boasts a sterling 15:3 TD:INT ratio this season. Despite the impressive numbers Saturday, the result was bittersweet, as Harris threw a pick-six to Anthony Gaitor in the final seconds that sealed the victory for the Lions. He'll try to rebound when the Redblacks take on the Roughriders in Week 16.

September 24, 2016

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Harris completed 25 of 35 passes for 274 yards while also picking up a rushing touchdown in Friday's win over the Argos.

Ottawa won the game primarily through their special teams, as Chris Milo booted five field goals and Jamill Smith returned a missed field goal 109 yards for a TD, but Harris kept the chains moving when he needed to and iced the game with his one-yard score. Don't expect big numbers from him next week either as the Redblacks heads west to take on the Lions.

September 18, 2016

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Harris completed 17 of 29 passes for 289 yards with two touchdowns and an interception in Saturday's 48-23 loss to the Stamps. He also rushed for seven yards on three carries.

The veteran signal-caller simply couldn't keep up with a relentless Calgary attack, although he did manage to complete passes to eight different receivers. Harris also threw only his second interception of the season and fell just short of the 300-yard mark for only second time in 2016 in which he's played a full game. He and the Redblacks will look to bounce back against the Argos in Week 14.

September 2, 2016

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Harris completed 27 of 40 passes for 282 yards with a touchdown and no interceptions in Thursday's 19-14 victory over the Als. He also gained two yards on four rushes.

The 30-year-old signal-caller was sharp and efficient in the low-scoring contest, providing his typical error-free brand of offense while guiding the Redblacks to their fifth victory. Harris did fall short of 300 yards passing for the first time this season in a start in which he played all four quarters, but has now thrown just one interception in 2016 against 11 touchdowns, with that sole miscue having come way back in Week 3. The veteran gunslinger will try to keep his stellar campaign going when Ottawa faces off with the Stamps when they return from their Week 12 bye.

August 26, 2016

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Harris completed 23 of 30 passes for 352 yards and a touchdown in Thursday's loss to the Lions.

After injuring his knee in Week 5, Harris missed three games but didn't show any rust Thursday in his return to the lineup. He's still averaging 308.5 passing yards a game on the year with a staggering 10:1 TD:INT in six games.

August 21, 2016

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Harris (knee) will start on Thursday against the Lions, AJ Jakubec of Radio Ottawa reports.

Harris hasn't played since injuring his knee in mid-July. He suited up for last weeks game but Henry Burris got the start. Now fully healthy, Harris shouldn't be expected to miss any more time with the knee injury.

August 18, 2016

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Harris (knee) said Thursday he plans to be in the lineup for Week 10's matchup against the Lions, TSN's Gary Lawless reports.

Harris also claimed he's currently fine, but the team is proceeding with a cautious approach and keeping him out of Friday's game against the Alouettes. The minor knee injury has kept him out for several weeks up to this point, but expect the quarterback to return to the field one week from today in Ottawa.

August 15, 2016

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Harris (knee) will not start Friday's game against the Alouettes, but he could still suit up, according to the CFL's official website.

Head coach Rick Campbell announced Monday morning that Henry Burris would start Friday, but he did not rule out Harris being in uniform. Burris has not played poorly this season, but Harris has been exceptional when on the field, so Campbell will have a decision to make at the quarterback position once Harris is healthy again.

August 5, 2016

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Harris (knee) is out for Saturday's tilt with the Eskimos.

Harris continues to miss time due to a knee injury he suffered two weeks ago. With regular starter Henry Burris recovered from his finger injury, it seems unlikely that Harris will start again barring any future injuries to Burris. After Saturday's game, the Redblacks have a bye week, which will give Harris extra time to rest up.

July 27, 2016

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Harris (knee) is week-to-week and will not play in Sunday's game, AJ Jakubec of TSN 1200 Radio reports.

Harris left Friday's game due to a knee injury and did not return. The fact that he's week-to-week suggests a somewhat quick recovery. It's unlikely that he'll start again this season unless regular starter Henry Burriss, who is coming off of the six-game injured list to start on Sunday, becomes re-injured or has lackluster performance.

July 26, 2016

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Harris, who left Friday's game after sustaining a knee injury and did not return, is considered questionable for Sunday's game against Toronto.

It is still unclear how severe Harris's knee injury is, however it seems that the injury is less severe than originally indicated, as he does not appear to have any structural issues. Head coach Rick Campbell said, "It could be really good news that they're going to clear him and as long as he's pain-free, he could be good to go; or there could be some type of issue, so we're just going to wait on that." If Harris can't play, Henry Burris (finger) or Brock Jensen are both options to start Week 6 for the Redblacks.

July 22, 2016

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Harris left Friday's game against the Roughriders with an apparent right leg injury and is questionable to return.

Harris was injured while being sacked in the first quarter of Friday's game and was replaced by Brock Jensen. Expect his status to be updated further when more details become available.

July 14, 2016

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Harris completed 28 of 31 passes for 392 yards while also rushing for 18 yards and a touchdown in Wednesday's 30-20 win over the Argos.

It's his third straight game with at least 390 passing yards, although Harris didn't manage to throw a TD pass for the first time this season. He's been outstanding so far for the undefeated Redblacks and should continue to pile up big numbers for the next month or so, at least until Henry Burriss (hand) returns to action.

July 9, 2016

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Harris completed 39 of 50 passes for 396 yards and three touchdowns while being intercepted once in Friday's 26-26 tie with the Stampeders.

The tie was the first in the CFL in seven years, but Harris certainly did his part to try and produce a better result for Ottawa. He's off to a great start as the East-leading Redblacks' starting QB, racking up 1083 passing yards and a 9:1 TD:INT through his first three games.

June 30, 2016

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Harris completed 20 of 26 passes for 395 yards and three touchdowns with no interceptions in Thursday's 28-13 victory over the Alouettes. He also gained 15 yards on a pair of rushes.

The veteran signal-caller certainly looks like the CFL's wisest offseason acquisition through the first two weeks of the campaign, given the way he's performed since coming into the third quarter of last week's contest in place of starter Henry Burris (hand). Harris consistently shredded the Als' secondary Thursday, and found three different receivers-- Chris Williams, Ernest Jackson and Greg Ellingson-- for touchdowns. He averaged a whopping 19.8 yards per completion as well, and drove a dagger into Montreal's heart with a 52-yard strike to Williams with 6:35 remaining in the game. With Burris on the six-week injured list, the Redblacks have to be simultaneously patting themselves on the back and thanking their lucky stars that they nabbed the 30-year-old veteran as an insurance policy.

June 27, 2016

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Harris will start in Thursday's matchup with the Alouettes according to head coach Rick Campbell.

Opening day starter Henry Burris suffered a finger injury in Saturday's thrilling Week 1 overtime victory over the Eskimos and has been ruled out for Thursday's matchup in Montreal. Harris completed 17 of 19 for 292 yards and three touchdowns after entering the game in third quarter, fueling the Redblacks to victory.

June 26, 2016

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Harris was outstanding in relief of the injured Henry Burris (hand) on Saturday, completing 17 of 19 passes for 292 yards and three touchdowns with no interceptions.

The former starter picked up right where he left off for the Argos in 2015, demonstrating the talent that allowed him to amass 4,354 yards and 33 touchdown passes last season. Signed to help shore up the position behind 41-year-old Henry Burris, Harris paid immediate dividends in the Grey Cup rematch. The 30-year-old backup wasted no time in taking charge of the Redblacks' attack after entering the game in the third quarter, firing a 71-yard beauty of a touchdown pass to Chris Williams on his first play, giving Ottawa a 21-20 lead at the time. Harris went right back to Williams on the next possession, connecting with him from 37 yards away to extend the Redblacks' advantage. After Chris Milo eventually sent the game into the extra period with a clutch 55-yard field goal, it was Harris coming through for a third time, finding Brad Sinopli for a 12-yard touchdown and Greg Ellingson for the subsequent two-point conversion. If Burris is forced to miss any more time, the Redblacks offense looks to be in good hands with the five-year veteran barking out the signals.
