Posey agreed to a futures deal with the Baltimore Ravens of the National Football League on Friday, Farhan Lalji of TSN reports.

The MVP of the 2017 Grey Cup will look to latch back on with an NFL team after spending the last year and change with the Argonauts. He accumulated 744 receiving yards and seven touchdowns this past season, including seven catches for 175 yards and a 100-yard score in the title game against Calgary. In the event that his NFL venture doesn't work out, he would likely garner interest in the CFL once again.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Posey posted seven receptions for 175 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 27-24 Grey Cup win over the Stampeders.

Posey officially got the Argonauts' offense going on the afternoon in sensational fashion by notching a Grey Cup-record 100-yard touchdown reception on the opening play of the second quarter. Posey got a step down the left sideline on the play and hauled in the throw from Ricky Ray at the Toronto 44-yard line before taking it another 66 yards to the house for the score. The spectacular play helped lead to a well-deserved Grey Cup MVP award for the second-year CFL wideout, who wrapped up the regular season with career bests in receptions (52), receiving yards (744) and touchdowns (seven). Only 27 years old, Posey is likely entering the prime of his career, rendering him a pivotal part of the Argonauts' efforts to defend their championship in 2018.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Posey posted three receptions for 39 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 25-21 Eastern Final win over the Roughriders.

Posey's 17-yard touchdown grab with 1:39 remaining in the second quarter gave the Argonauts a 13-3 lead at the time and served as his second touchdown in as many games. The Ohio State product had his moments during his second CFL regular season, posting 52 receptions for 744 yards (14.3 YPC) and seven touchdowns in 12 games. Given his downfield speed and the Argonauts' prolific passing game, Posey could play an integral role in the Grey Cup showdown against a tough Stampeders defense.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Posey posted two catches for 32 yards and a touchdown in Saturday's 40-13 win over the Lions.

The second-year CFL receiver made his catches count, hauling in a 20-yard touchdown throw from Ricky Ray just before halftime to stake the Argos to a 22-1 lead at the time. Posey's production often fluctuated this season, but he did manage a trio of 100-yard efforts and logged seven touchdowns among his 52 receptions. Given his upside, he'll make for a prototypical hit-or-miss DFS tournament option in the postseason.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Posey managed five receptions for 128 yards in Saturday's 29-28 win over the Blue Bombers.

Posey was Ricky Ray's top target in a 423-yard passing day, with the receiver posting his second 100-yard effort of the season. The 27-year-old wideout hasn't regularly generated this caliber of production, but he's still posted a solid 50-712-6 line over 11 games. He'll look to put a successful stamp on his first CFL season when the Argonauts take on the Lions in Week 20.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Posey totaled three receptions for 41 yards in Saturday's 27-24 loss to the Roughriders.

A week after a spectacular 104-yard, two-touchdown outburst, Posey turned in a much more subdued performance versus the Roughriders. The Ohio State product's numbers have been somewhat inconsistent in his first full CFL season, but he still heads into a Week 17 matchup versus the Eskimos with a respectable 42/555/6 line over nine games.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Posey posted seven receptions for 104 yards and two touchdowns in Saturday's 43-35 overtime victory against the Tiger-Cats.

Posey picked a fine time for his first 100-yard game since the season opener, helping to key the overtime win. The 27-year-old posted his first touchdown, a 25-yard strike from QB Ricky Ray, with 40 seconds remaining in regulation. Posey then notched 13-yard go-ahead score in overtime, which ultimately proved to be the game winner. The performance was Posey's second multi-touchdown effort of the season and pushed him past the 500-yard mark on the campaign. He'll look to continue contributing against the Roughriders in Week 16.

September 5, 2017

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Posey caught five passes for 47 yards and two touchdowns in Monday's 24-22 loss to the Tiger-Cats.

His scores late in the third quarter and early in the fourth gave the Argos their final lead of the game. Posey now has four TDs in only five games this season to go along with 29 catches and 386 yards, and he's quickly established a strong rapport with Ricky Ray. If the 27-year-old receiver can stay healthy, he should have a very productive finish to the campaign.

August 27, 2017

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Posey caught five passes for a team-high 59 yards in Saturday's 23-7 loss to the Stampders.

It wasn't exactly a dynamic return to action for Posey, who missed the previous six games with a foot injury, but on a night when the Argos' offense managed only 238 total yards and failed to get the ball into the end zone, his numbers should be considered a modest success. Expect a more productive performance from the 27-year-old next week in Hamilton.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Posey (foot) will return Saturday night against the Stampeders, The Canadian Press reports.

Posey was on the six-game disabled list with a foot injury. He had 19 catches for 280 yards and two touchdowns in the Argonauts' first three contests before he became injured.

July 12, 2017

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Posey has been placed on the six-game injured list due to an undisclosed injury, CFL insider Jeff Krever reports.

The nature of Posey's injury is currently unknown, but it'll keep the Argos' No. 1 receiver sidelined for at least the next six games. Posey has been on a roll to start the season, while S.J. Green and Armanti Edwards figure to see additional targets with Posey out.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Posey totaled 62 yards and a touchdown on seven receptions in Saturday's 26-25 win over the Redblacks.

Posey was on the receiving end of quarterback Ricky Ray's 300th career touchdown pass, pulling the Argos to within 23-19 in the fourth quarter with what his second score of the season. The former Houston Texan has already notched 19 receptions and 280 yards over the first three weeks of the season, effectively establishing him as one of Ray's most trusted weapons in what has proven to be a high-powered offense. Although Posey averaged just 8.9 yards per grab Saturday, he's still sporting an impressive 14.7 YPC in 2017. He'll look to continue generating strong production when the Argos face the Blue Bombers in Week 4.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Posey caught five passes for 71 yards in Friday's 28-15 loss to the Lions.

He wasn't able to repeat his huge Week 1 performance, but Posey now has 12 catches for 218 yards and a TD through two games as one of Ricky Ray's primary targets in what looks like it will be an explosive passing attack in Toronto. Despite his limited experience in the CFL, he seemed poised to emerge as one of the league's top receivers in 2017.

June 25, 2017

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Posey totaled 147 yards and a touchdown on seven receptions in Sunday's 32-15 win over Hamilton.

Posey's 79-yard score on the first play of the second half helped make up for an earlier miscue that had led to points. The former Houston Texan had dropped a 17-yard would-be touchdown that eventually led to a blocked field-goal return for a score by the Ti-Cats, cutting the Argos' lead to 15-12 just before halftime. Posey got his CFL career off to a modest start late in 2016, corralling 13 receptions for 161 yards and adding another 20 yards on a pair of punt returns over four games with Toronto. A full offseason with the team and new head coach Marc Trestman's offense both seem to have paid dividends for Posey in the early going, making him an intriguing fantasy prospect heading into a Week 2 matchup against the Lions.

June 25, 2017

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Posey will start at wide receiver in Sunday's game against the Tiger-Cats.

Posey entered the starting lineup late last year, and he will remain in the same spot as the 2017 season gets underway. Posey was in NFL training camp with the Broncos as recently last year, so he could make more of an impact with the Argonauts this season with a full offseason of practice under his belt.

October 22, 2016

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Posey caught three passes for 62 yards in Friday's loss to the Stampeders.

It was a solid first CFL start for Posey, who had caught four passes in a reserve role the previous two weeks. Expect him to remain in the starting lineup for the Argos' final regular season game, Nov. 5 in Edmonton.

October 21, 2016

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Posey will start at wide receiver in Friday's matchup with the Stampeders.

Posey was behind Llevi Noel on the depth chart the last couple weeks, but the two will switch places this week, and Posey will get the start opposite Kenny Shaw.

October 10, 2016

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Posey is listed as a reserve wide receiver on the depth chart for Monday's matchup with the Stampeders.

Posey has not appeared in a game since signing with the Argonauts in late September, but he is set to make his team debut Monday. While he is listed as a reserve, the Argonauts' receiver position is in flux following the release of four receivers last week, so Posey -- who appeared in 26 NFL games between 2012-2014 -- could have a chance to earn a more prominent role.

September 20, 2016

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Posey did not land another NFL contract after being released by the Broncos in August, so he will join his older brother Julian in Winnipeg. It remains to be seen if or when he will join the Argonauts' active roster with the team healthy at the wideout position.
