Gruetzemacher lost to Davi Ramos via submission (rear-naked choke) at 0:50 of Round 3 at UFC Fight Night on Saturday in Fresno, Calif.

Fantasy Analysis

Gruetzemacher was always going to struggle on the ground in this fight. He did well defending in the first two rounds. However, he eventually fell in the third round via submission. Ramos appeared to get tired, and Gruetzemacher began to lead. He pushed forward with his striking, but he was not polished enough to take full advantage. After competing on the 22nd season of "The Ultimate Fighter" Gruetzemacher has gone 2-2 in the UFC.
Gruetzemacher will face Davi Ramos at UFC Fight Night 123 on December 9 in Fresno, Guilherme Cruz of reports.

Fantasy Analysis

Gruetzemacher is looking for his first official win under the UFC banner. He officially joined the promotion after beating Abner Lloveras at the TUF 22 Finale in 2015. He sat for two years after that matchup only to suffer a debut loss to Chas Skelly this February and sustained an undisclosed injury shortly after. "Gritz" is 13-2 overall.
Gruetzemacher (undisclosed) will no longer compete against Martin Bravo at UFC Fight Night 114 on August 5 in Mexico City, Danny Segura of reports.

Fantasy Analysis

Gruetzemacher has been replaced by Humberto Bandenay in this matchup because of an undisclosed injury. Bandenay is new to the promotion with a 13-4 record and is taking on the fight with three weeks notice. A return date for Gruetzemacher is unknown at this time.
