Abu Danladi    F    Minnesota United
Danladi was absent from Tuesday's practice session with an undisclosed injury, Megan Ryan of the Star Tribune reports.

Fantasy Analysis

Danladi was forced off in the 52nd minutes of Sunday's contest against Seattle due to his injury. Even when the forward has been in the starting XI, he has only cracked the 60-minute mark just once. Given his limited usage, it shouldn't come as a surprise that he has registered a mere three shots, with only one finding its way on net. Christian Ramirez -- who replaced Danladi on Sunday -- is the leading candidate to rejoin the starters against Houston on Saturday.
Marc Burch    D    Minnesota United
Burch (knee) took part in Tuesday's training session, Megan Ryan of the Star Tribune reports.

Fantasy Analysis

Burch -- who missed Sunday's clash with Seattle -- has logged just eight clearances in his four outings this season. With Tyrone Mears (calf) also nearing a return, bench boss Adrian Heath could have plenty of options for Saturday's tilt against Houston. If either defender suits up, Carter Manley is the odds on favorite to head to the sidelines.
Tyrone Mears    D    Minnesota United
Mears (calf) resumed training with the team Tuesday, Megan Ryan of the Star Tribune reports.

Fantasy Analysis

Mears has been out of action since April 1 when he logged 90 minutes versus Atlanta. In his four appearances this season, the defender has logged team highs in crosses (41) and chances created (10). Once the Englishman is given the green light to return, he figures to bump Carter Manley from the starting XI -- depending on the health of Marc Burch (knee).
Ethan Finlay    M    Minnesota United
Finlay has been ruled out for the rest of the season after suffering a torn ACL during Saturday's match against Seattle, the Star Tribune reports.

Fantasy Analysis

Finlay's absence will be a big blow to the Minnesota attack, one that was already dealing with the absence of Kevin Molino, who also tore an ACL earlier this season. Sam Nicholson replaced Finlay last weekend and could get more playing time in the latter's absence.
Joshua Yaro    D    Philadelphia Union
Yaro (groin) was on the bench Saturday against Dallas.

Fantasy Analysis

Yaro has yet to play this season while making the bench on three occasions. Until he proves he is fully ready, Yaro will sit behind current first choice center-backs Auston Trusty and Mark McKenzie.
Philippe Senderos    D    Houston Dynamo
Senderos did not make the match-day squad against Toronto on Saturday.

Fantasy Analysis

Senderos has been out since pulling his hamstring Mar. 10. Adolfo Machado and Leonardo have been the primary center-defenders in the absence of Senderos, who still doesn't have a clear return date.
Jack Elliott    D    Philadelphia Union
Elliot (leg) did not make the match-day squad against Dallas on Saturday.

Fantasy Analysis

Elliot wasn't able to recover from an injury suffered Apr. 14 in time for this match. Up next is D.C. United, where Mark McKenzie could get a second straight start is Elliot is unable to play.
Jonathan Spector    D    Orlando City SC
Spector did not play against San Jose on Saturday as he continues to recover from a concussion.

Fantasy Analysis

Spector is being more cautious with his recovery process after landing in the concussion protocol for the second time in this shot season two weeks ago. He will likely return to the starting lineup once healthy.
Chris Schuler    D    Orlando City SC
Schuler (undisclosed) did not play against San Jose on Saturday.

Fantasy Analysis

Schuler has not seen the field once this season, and he still remains out under cloudy circumstances. Until anything changes, Lamine Sane and Amro Tarek remain the first choice center backs.
Scott Sutter    D    Orlando City SC
Sutter (lower body) did not play in the 3-2 over San Jose on Saturday.

Fantasy Analysis

Sutter has been out for the better part of two weeks through injury but now looks nearing a return. Will Johnson was forced to play at right-back Saturday, but regular defenders Sutter or RJ Allen are looking like they will be able to play Apr. at Colorado.
RJ Allen    D    Orlando City SC
Allen (leg) was left on the bench for Saturday's 3-2 win over San Jose.

Fantasy Analysis

Allen was unable to recover from a leg issue suffered Apr. 13. Will Johnson got the start at right back in this match, but Allen could return to the field after making the bench Saturday. Up next is Colorado Apr. 29.
Yordy Reyna    M    Vancouver Whitecaps FC
Reyna took two shots before being sent off in the 40th minute of Friday's 6-0 loss at Sporting Kansas City.

Fantasy Analysis

Reyna had a shot on an open net in the seventh minute of the match that SKC goalkeeper Tim Melia did well to get back to get a hand on the shot and deflect it out of bounds. It was all downhill from there and Reyna got into a scuffle that earned him an early shower just before halftime. He'll miss Friday's match versus Salt Lake and is eligible to return on Saturday, May 5 at Minnesota.
Efrain Juarez    M    Vancouver Whitecaps FC
Juarez was sent off in the 40th minute of Friday's 6-0 loss at Sporting Kansas City.

Fantasy Analysis

Upon video review, Juarez was seen putting his hands to the face of Kansas City's Johnny Russell and was sent off for violent conduct. He will miss the next match versus Salt Lake and is eligible to return at Minnesota on May 5th.
Victor Cabrera    D    Montreal Impact
Cabrera picked up a red card in the 31st minute of Saturday's 5-3 loss against LAFC because of a denial of an obvious goal-scoring opportunity.

Fantasy Analysis

Montreal still managed a goal after the red, but everything slipped away in the second half as they allowed four goals. With a couple guys questionable due to injury, the Impact back line will likely look different once again for the trip to Atlanta next weekend.
Rod Fanni    D    Montreal Impact
Fanni (leg) wasn't in the lineup for Saturday's 5-3 loss against LAFC.

Fantasy Analysis

Fanni was almost lucky not to be part of the back line that has allowed 12 goals over the last three matches. His status will be up in the air for another difficult match at Atlanta. Rudy Camacho and Daniel Lovitz got the start at centre back in Fanni's absence.
Hector Villalba    F    Atlanta United
Villalba was not available for Saturday's 2-0 win against the Los Angeles Galaxy.

Fantasy Analysis

Villalba didn't seemed to be missed much, as Ezequiel Barco made his debut for Atlanta, which helped provide support for Josef Martinez and Miguel Almiron in Villalba's place. Once Villalba returns it is not clear what role he will have in the side, though it should be assumed that he will remain in the lineup. To begin the year, he has played up top with Martinez as one of two center forwards, which is a much different position than he played all of last season, when he started on the right wing. Though he produced a match with a goal and two assists in the second game of the year, it doesn't appear that Villalba is all that comfortable playing in a partnership with Martinez up top, so possibly he will drift back out wide once he returns, now that Barco is in the mix.
Tim Howard    G    Colorado Rapids
Howard was sent off in the 20th minute of Saturday's 3-0 loss to Real Sale Lake for denial of an obvious goalscoring opportunity.

Fantasy Analysis

Howard appeared to slightly graze the ball with his hand while outside the box, even though most of Jefferson Savarino's shot was blocked by Howard's chest. He almost got off the hook, as the Rapids were near to the finish line, having staved off the RSL attack for more than 60 minutes, but then things opened up after a penalty kick was awarded in the 82nd minute, and the scoreline finished in a lopsided fashion. Howard will miss next week's match against Orlando City SC, with Zac MacMath likely starting in his place.
Jonathan dos Santos    M    Los Angeles Galaxy
Dos Santos did not play in Saturday's match against Atlanta United after suffering a calf injury during the warmup. "You've got to talk to Jonathan," manager Sigi Schmid told reporters after the game. "He felt something in warm-ups and didn't feel that he could go. It looked like he almost thought he could go. He consulted with our trainers, consulted with his brother and others, and felt he couldn't go."

Fantasy Analysis

Dos Santos was in the announced starting lineup but was replaced by Baggio Husidic. He'll likely undergo scans in the coming days to determine the severity of the injury.
Ike Opara    D    Sporting Kansas City
Opara will not play Friday against the Whitecaps because of an illness, according to Sam McDowell of the Kansas City Star.

Fantasy Analysis

Emiliano Amor will get the start for Opara, who is likely to return next Saturday at New England if the illness isn't serious.
Paxton Pomykal    M    FC Dallas
Pomykal (knee) continues to work through injury rehab.

Fantasy Analysis

Pomykal underwent surgery to repair the meniscus in his right knee in early April and will likely be out until late May.
Victor Vazquez    F/M    Toronto FC
Vazquez (back) could feature in next Wednesday's second leg of Champions League final, John Molinaro of Sportsnet reports. "He's progressing and getting better," manager Greg Vanney said. "He's doing more things, he's more mobile than he has been. He's going to go with us [to Mexico], and if he can get through training sessions and still feel loose, not have some of the sensations that he was having before from the nerve [problems], if he can continue to make progress, then he can play a role,"

Fantasy Analysis

Vazquez has been a major attacking piece for Toronto and would be a big boost for a side that will need to win by two goals if they are going to lift the cup.
Jose Hernandez    D    Atlanta United
Hernandez (quadriceps) is a few weeks away from returning form injury, Doug Roberson of the Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports.

Fantasy Analysis

Hernandez will continue to rehab, while a return to training could come sometime in early May. He'll help with Atlanta's defensive depth once he recovers from injury.
Kei Kamara    F    Vancouver Whitecaps FC
Kamara will miss the next few matches due to a groin injury suffered in training last week, reports Farhan Devji, Whitecaps content coordinator.

Fantasy Analysis

This is a blow to the Vancouver attack that looked like it was missing a piece in its most recent 2-0 loss. The Whitecaps will be hard to trust up front, especially in Kansas City with Erik Hurtado expected to remain the front man.
Kelyn Rowe    M    New England Revolution
Rowe will miss 1-4 weeks with a knee injury, according to Jonathan Sigal of the NE Soccer Journal.

Fantasy Analysis

The timeline is a bit vague, but Rowe is injured nonetheless. He has started two matches, although his only assists this season came off the bench against Montreal in his last appearances.
Vytautas Andriuskevicius    D    Portland Timbers
Vytas (hamstring) has been ruled out for Sunday's match against NYC FC, The Oregonian reports.

Fantasy Analysis

Vytas has played only eight minutes this season because of the injury, and he's reportedly not progressing as quickly as the club had hoped. Zarek Valentin is expected to continue to start at left-back in Vytas' absence.
Jordon Mutch    M    Vancouver Whitecaps FC
Mutch (undisclosed) did not play against LAFC on Saturday.

Fantasy Analysis

Mutch has made two starts this season, but his lack of availability each week is likely to limit his value. Look to Felipe Martins and Efrain Juarez in the Vancouver midfield for production.
David Ousted    G    D.C. United
Ousted (ankle) did not play against Columbus on Saturday.

Fantasy Analysis

Ousted wasn't able to regain his fitness after hurting his ankle before the match. Steve Clark got the start, but Ousted is likely to start Apr. 28 as the injury is not serious enough to hold him out for an extended period.
Paul Arriola    F/M    D.C. United
Arriola assisted on the eventual game winner and was red carded in the 51st minute of Saturday's 1-0 win over Columbus.

Fantasy Analysis

Arriola laid a ball off for Ulises Segura to slam home in the first minute of the game, but was given his marching orders just minutes into the second half for a reckless foul. He'll miss out at Philadelphia on April 28 and is eligible to return on May 12 at Salt Lake. Zoltan Stieber could earn more playing time in Arriola's absence.
Ismael Tajouri    F    New York City FC
Tajouri suffered a hamstring injury during Sunday's match at Atlanta, according to Kyle Schnitzer of the New York Post.

Fantasy Analysis

Tajouri managed to play only 35 minutes before pulling up lame, and he will reportedly undergo sans when the team returns to New York. He has been a vital piece of the NYC attack of late, though the return of David Villa from injury will help tremendously.
Eric Miller    D    Colorado Rapids
Miller was unavailable for Saturday's fixture with Toronto FC as he continues to recover from a calf injury.

Fantasy Analysis

Miller was deemed questionable heading into the match, but he was ultimately ruled out just before kickoff. Considering he had a chance to play, he should be closer to a return to the fold next week against Real Salt Lake.
Russell Canouse    M/D    D.C. United
Canouse has missed the beginning of the year with a knee injury, but he is reportedly close to returning to the fold, according to Steven Goff of the Washington Post.

Fantasy Analysis

Canouse has missed five games so far this season due to a knee injury, and once he returns to full health he is expected to return to the starting lineup after serving as a regular starter at the end of last season. He entered the fold immediately after being acquired from Hoffenheim last August, and he will fill the void left by Perry Kitchen, who left to the LA Galaxy in the offseason.
